"The staff at the hospital could not have been better and were excellent at putting me at ease"

Treatment Received: Gastric Band
Sleeve Gastrectomy.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Garrett from ISG was extremely helpful in answering any queries and in organising everything. The staff at the hospital could not have been better and were excellent at putting me at ease. Dr. Dilllemans is a true professional and an excellent surgeon. The hospital was superb, much better than I'd have got over here in the UK. Would not hesitate to recommend ISG/Dr. Dillemans to anyone thinking of having weight loss surgery.

Went for Gastric Sleeve and although I was very hesitant at first I want to thank Garrett at the International Surgery Group who was amazing at calming my nerves. It meant so much that he had been through it himself and was able to speak from his own personal experience

Treatment Received: Gastric Bypass
Gastric bypass surgery. After years of suffering from overweight. -and trying every diet that exists on tthe globe - I decided for a more radical approach. After researching the subject I decided to go for the gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Dillemans in Brugge.
I have just arrived back home and I am writing to tell you about it. Everything was organized perfectly by Mr Roche from the International Surgery Group. He was a patient companion to this process. I am sure I couldn't have done it without him. Dr. Dillemans was great, so warm and kind. The hospital was excellent. The staff are so gentle, kind, professional, and polite. Finally, the hotel was lovely too. Definitely a place I will be glad to go back to.

Treatment Received: Gastric Bypass
Treatment went great. I was able to get up and move about a few hours after surgery and I was able to eat/drink up to 4-6 oz of water/liquid food. The Hospital has the best broth/soup I have ever tasted! Anyway, The surgeon has an amazing bedside manner which is something that I was told about in advance before booking with International Surgery Group and he has excellent English, as do most of the doctors and nurses. My surgery took less than an hour to complete! I was fit enough to check out of the hospital the day after my Gastric Bypass and I stayed in one of the Hotels recommended my this surgery organisation and both my husband and I were delighted because they even have a special "Post-Surgery Menu" for the patients of ISG and we got the room on a discount also because we booked through ISG. All in all I paid €7,400 for my Gastric Bypass, my Hotel cost me €270 for 3 nights and my flights to Belgium cost me €65 return for both my husband and myself. I also took the ISG Insurance which was an extra €290 so my total spend was €8,025. for the same procedure in the UK I would have to pay over €18,000.00 There is no comparison. These people are fantastic and I would strongly recommend them to anybody considering this type of surgery.

Treatment Received: Gastric Bypass
I found International Surgery Group online and after much research I decided to go with them. The Clinic was actually a fully operational hospital and the surgeon was an absolute gentleman. I had my consultation on a Wednesday afternoon and my Surgery took place on the following morning. The whole procedure for a Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass took less than an hour which was amazing and I was discharged from hospital the following day. I stayed for 3 nights in Belgium altogether but I was given permission to travel home 24 hours after surgery and I can honestly say that I have not looked back. I would strongly recommend International Surgery Group not only because they are the cheapest but because they are the cheapest who deal with Dr. Dillemans and I found from the time I made my initial enquiry International Surgery Group went out of their way to fulfill all of my sometimes eccentric requirements! They were able to arrange my surgery in 10 days, all the other providers would have had me wait over 2 months for a date. Fantastic ISG and thanks for your hard work Garrett on my behalf. Strongly Recommend!

After Lap Band patients may need revision or conversion weight loss surgery for a number of reasons. The Lap Band could slip leading to a slow chronic condition or an acute condition requiring emergency surgery. Both circumstances ultimately lead to the Lap Band not functioning the way it should. While each circumstance is different, treating these issues may require removing the Lap Band, repositioning the Lap Band or converting the Lap Band all together with either a Gastric Sleeve or Gastric Bypass. Removing the Lap Band obviously opens the door for potential weight regain
