September 2022 Happy smile!! A friend of mine had dental implant work done in Turkey. I always admire her smile, and how amazing it looks and is professionally done. Always dreamt of having a Hollywood smile as I was unhappy with the colour of my teeth and decay which cause me to lose a few through extraction. I like to see things for myself and ask questions about other people's experiences. As each journey differs. My friend told me they provide hotel accommodations, pick me up from the airport to the hotel and each time I am going to the clinics for consultations and treatments. With the reassurance of my friend and seeing the actual dental work, she had done. That was what gave me the drive to have mine done. As I was apprehensive about getting dental treatment done, due to hearing so many sad stories which people experience. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and get in touch with the company. I spoke to a gentleman with eloquent communication who submitted photos of what I would like to be done and he also sends me all the necessary information I would need, for example, a video explaining how and where I would be picked, the hotel reservation all the contact of the people involved beforehand. I showed it to my friend and she said they will deliver just as they say it. Upon arrival at Novusklinik clinic, I was greeted by a team of very warm, welcoming friendly, happy and smiling faces. I was introduced to Dr Sencan and Dr Tiryaki who go beyond the call of duty to make sure I understand what should be the best to do with my teeth and mouth so that I do not have future health risks, the time and effort were given to me explaining the pros and cons of the treatment so that I can make an independent judgment. I agreed with the advice given to me by the dentist to do all on 4 implants and zirconium crowns which is a two-part process. I am very scared of dentists, especially hearing the sound of the instruments and the pain and discomfort. I was so impressed by the gentle touch of the dentist's hands and reassuring nature. During my visits, I observed that their infection control is of paramount importance and I am very keen on that aspect which I admired most. Also, the place is immaculately clean with breaths of fresh air, relaxation and amazing decor thanks to a phenomenal team that showed professionalism, experience, knowledge and attention to detail. The personal (PA) assistant and front desk staff show consideration, caring, extremely helpful, warm and friendly, hospitality and work well together from the start to finish.Thanks again to the doctors/dentists for the great experience and quality dental restoration on my teeth to boost my smile, and self-confidence and give me a whole new look for the future. I can say I have no regrets. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs an experienced dentist who can change your health and well-being, giving you that smile you always wanted. We have all our dental treatments done as a family at this clinic. There is a great interest. I was being extremely sensitive about my child's dental treatments. I have 2 children and we needed a good pedodontist for both of my children. He had a few problems with his baby teeth. I came to Istanbul Dental Academy and they took very good care and offered a very good treatment. I was very pleased with the service provided and I had my own implant and zirconium crown treatments done in this clinic. The surgeon's hand is also amazing. I definitely recommend it. I am at the first stage of having all on four implants. I have just returned to the UK and it is early days to honest. The people at Westdent were very good to me and I was made very welcome and at ease. My upper jaw is fine but my lower jaw is still very tender. I am not able to wear the lower jaw temporary denture because of this. I hope it improves soon. I am looking forward to going back to have the permanent teeth fitted.

Here is my full detailed review of my treatment with Dr Cem Baysal: I first got in contact with Dr Baysal in the summer of 2022 after vast online research for dental work abroad. I came across Dr Baysal on whatclinic as he was number 1 rated in Istanbul. He had THOUSANDS of fantastic reviews backed up with decades of experience as well as being a professor in dentistry at multiple universities across Europe. It seemed a no-brainer to go with Dr. Baysal. I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp and gave him a brief overview of my dental situation and what I require. He then proceeded to make suggestions and sent his price list and fees for various treatments. Once I booked my flights he booked me in for an initial consultation the day after I land in Istanbul. I arrived in Istanbul November 2022 and discussed what I desired and created a treatment plan with Dr. Baysal. Upon reviewing the tomography (£35) Dr. Baysal advised I can have 3 dental implants for my missing teeth. The next day Dr. Baysal performed the initial implant surgery. I was given plenty of anaesthetic in and around the implant area so the surgery was painless. Just some pushing and pressure in the jawbone as you can imagine with inserting implants. Once the anaesthetic had worn off there was a little bit of pain but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t deal with. Dr. Baysal prescribed me 5 days worth of antibiotics to take post-surgery to avoid any potential infections. After the surgery, I was able to return home and needed to return after 5-6 months; known as the osteointegration period. After 6 months I returned in May 2023 to finish my treatment. Again this was an easy WhatsApp message to Dr. Baysal to let him know of my return. Upon returning I had another tomography to review the implants and make sure they were successful which they were. Now we could proceed with completing the dental implants. As well as the dental implants I discussed crowning 6 of my other upper teeth to create a nice natural smile. Dr. Baysal said this was possible so we created impressions for the crowns on my natural teeth and the dental implants. The preparation for the crowns was painless, performing ‘shoulder preparation’ which is a high-level skill to maintain gum health and the life of your teeth. Dr. Baysal and his fantastic dental nurses always provide plenty of anaesthetics to make sure you don’t feel anything throughout the procedure. Once my teeth were prepped for crowns and my implants ready for abutments and crowns Dr. Baysal placed temporary crowns over my teeth (mimicking my natural teeth) so I could carry on eating and drinking as normal. 6 days had passed and my crowns were ready to be fitted. This again was painless, the only uncomfortable parts of the process were the cold air on my prepped teeth which were sensitive and finishing the tightening of the dental implants. Once this was completed Dr. Baysal made sure my bite was correct and everything was secure and that I was happy with my new smile. Which I absolutely am! My treatment of 3 dental implants and 6 zirconium crowns came to roughly €7000 (£6000 £1=€1.15). This was half of what the treatment would have costed at my private dentist in the UK. Dr. Baysal’s clinic is located in the very affluent area of Nisantisi in Istanbul so it’s a pleasant stay in one of the many affordable local hotels. I have recommended Dr. Baysal to at least a dozen friends and family in the week after finishing my treatment and returning to the UK. They love my smile and the natural look of my teeth. Dr. Baysal offers a very natural-looking solution, making sure your crowns are shaped and in a shade that match your natural teeth. Dr. Baysal is a master in what he does. You’re probably reading this review as you are looking to come to Turkey for affordable dental treatment. Dr. Baysal’s prices are on the higher end for Turkey’s standards but his reviews and skills speak for themself and compared to UK prices, very affordable! Thank you Dr. Baysal and team. I had 10 upper 10 lower zirconium crowns done. Very happy with the result. The clinic was very close to my hotel, and the staff was very helpful, no matter what the time was they always answered my messages quickly I can not thank them enough. Now we are planning a trip with my husband to visit Dentapoint again for his smile make over

I had 2 implants done, an extraction and a bone graft/sinus lift on my upper jaw at the back of my mouth. They first gave me an x-ray and then a consultation on the work that needed to be done. I was very surprised at how quickly and efficiently they were in completing the treatments I needed. Definitely value for money. I was very impressed with the place, very clean as expected and they were using all the up-to-date equipment on their customers. The whole procedure was done like clockwork from entering the building initially then to fill in certain paperwork, xrays, pictures taken, consultation, treatment and then given medication and be on your way. No sitting down waiting on certain things, you was literally in one thing and then moved onto the next stage (well impressed with their system) I was then back in a few days later for a precautionary check-up. Can't wait to be back in around 5 months' time for my new crowns. Accommodation by them was a nice hotel too. From Vahap the translator/customer coordinator explained the process step by step, to the doctors who were very professional in their work and anil the driver who transferred you to n from the airport, hotel and clinic I can't thank you all enough. I know I'd make the right choice going with the pearl clinic. See you in the summer.

I am just back home after stage one of my dental implant journey. Dr. Karabey, his assistants and his staff were so kind, attentive and professional. The first procedure was complicated, but went very well and I experienced very little pain and swelling. Dr. Karabey explained the procedure and what I needed to do to look after my implants between now and when I return for the remainder of the procedure and the fitting of my teeth. My stay in Istanbul was quite comfortable and on my rest days, I was able to take in the sights of the beautiful city. I highly recommend Dr. Karabey's practice.

I went to the Clinic last September and had some teeth extracted and implants installed. Now that Turkey is off the U.K. Red list I can’t wait to have my treatment completed. I have full confidence in the Clinic, I was very impressed during my first visit and treatment. They put me at ease before and during my treatment. All the staff are extremely friendly and I was treated like a VIP. I can highly recommend the clinic. They are so professional and experts in their treatments.

Due to an additional member of my family attending at the last minute, we couldn’t stay at the planned hotel but Honor was a saint and sorted it all out for us and we were placed at a lovely hotel. As promised a taxi was awaiting our arrival and took us straight to A-dent where I was greeted by Honor himself and a lovely team. Honor talked me through every stage and then guided me as we proceeded with the scans. I met my surgeon who firstly looked at the scans then asked to take a look at my mouth. It was all very professional and very courteous. The surgeon was very honest and said that it was a lot of work but I could have the procedure, so I was booked in at 5pm the next day for surgery. On the 02.03.24 at 3 pm we were picked up by the transfer taxi and taken to the clinic where a further scan was taken and then Honor talked me through the whole process, and what type of plate was recommended due to my bone loss. After this, we were taken to the staff room where were given food to eat and we all sat and had a very relaxed time. 5pm I was greeted by my surgeon and sat in the chair. I was given time to say my goodbyes to my children and then it was all go. All the equipment needed was sterile and taken out of sealed packets, and when ready the surgeon made a start. First he applied an anaesthetic spray to numb the gum, and that worked in seconds, then after a minute or so I was injected loads to ensure I would not feel a thing. My surgeon was quick working with this and I was numb from the bridge of my nose to the top of my mouth. 3 teeth taken out, 2 sinus lifts, 6 implants later and all stitched up the first half was complete. That was the hard part done. We had a short break, and then round 2, the lower jaw. This was easier as I had 10 teeth on the bottom, but I was still injected loads to make sure that I had no pain, then 10 teeth taken out, 6 implants placed and stitched up I was finished. It was a lot of work, but I honestly didn’t feel a thing other than a lot of jaw ache but this is due to having my mouth open for 3 hours and also the pressure that is applied when they make the placements for the implants. My surgeon was amazing and had clearly done this procedure many times so I felt very reassured all the time. I had a further scan and then given a prescription for 5 items, and on the way back to the hotel, the taxi stopped at a pharmacy for me to pick up the meds and then to the hotel where I had a telephone conversation with Honor who advised how to take the meds. 3 days after surgery I was very swollen and I had some serious bruising but pain wise I had nothing more than a little bit of dental ache which you get from having 1 tooth out, it amazed me. 10am on the 5.3.24 I was picked up and taken to to clinic for a check up and was told everything looked well and the healing was already happening which was a great relief, then Honor showed me the last scan where I could see all 12 implants. I was so happy they had managed to achieve this. I now have to allow 5 months minimum for all the bone grafts to take and harden, which for me means no teeth at all, but if this is advised to reduce the failure ratio due to the lack of upper jaw bone then I’m ok with that. I chose A-dent from what clinic because of all the positive reviews and I promise I was not disappointed. The clinic itself was immaculate. The floor was so clean you could eat off it, all the equipment was sterile and clean, it was brilliant and the staff there were so polite and guided you with everything, but Honor, well he is just a diamond guy and will do anything and everything to support, guide and reassure you through everything. You also get a “implant passport” which gives all the information on what type of implant you have and where it is placed and all covered by a lifetime guarantee. I now know that if I need any treatment in the future A-dent is where I will be going and I think my children will too. Absolutely first class!

Hello, I was there. I had surgery 4 days ago (stomach reduction). Everything is going well, even though I don't speak the language, I was received and treated very well by the very competent and friendly nursing staff. Not to forget the many doctors and surgeons! The hospital is very clean and organized! And don't forget my lovely German translator (Hülya), who is always ready to help with whatever is needed! Thank you all.

Heeeey Laaaaadeeeezzz!!! I'm a little over two weeks post op and feeling great. My weight is now 165. I was hoping to lose a bit more quickly but my dietitian says I'm progressing well. And my clothes and suits are fitting slacker!!! Yaaaaay. I am so happy I did this. No regrets whatsoever. I promised to write about the surgery experience so here goes: When I was wheeled into surgery I met the team including nurses. I joked and called them the "A-team" and asked them to take good care of me. They promised to. I didn't see my surgeon just before surgery as he was in another room. However I gave the anesthesiologist a message for him: "thank you and take care of me". The anesthesiologist chatted with me and made me super comfortable. I laid down on the operating table, he gave me the anesthetic and the next thing I knew I was being woken up as surgery was over!!! My surgeon was right there telling me that everything went perfectly, and seconds later my mum was there holding my hand as I was being wheeled back into my private room. I wasn't in pain. I didn't have and still haven't had any serious gas pains or anything of that nature. They treated me like a queen. I wish I could get the kind of care I received at Medhera Clinic here in the USA! I can't recommend them highly enough.It was the best decision of my life!!

My husband and I researched many dental clinics and chose Dr. Yildirim. I am more than thrilled with the dental work received. His office staff were very friendly and helpful. Prior to receiving treatment, I didn’t have reason to smile, now I can’t stop smiling! The cost was very reasonable for the work I had done and would certainly recommend their clinic. I arrived on the 9th November 23. From start to finish today, the 15th, the service and help has been outstanding. The surgeon has been in touch every day, and have seen me to check the progress of the healing of my gums. I've had my bottom teeth removed, 6 implants bolted to my jaw and temporary teeth fitted. Throughout there has been no pain, just a little discomfort which I expected. When I return in 3 months for the fitting of the final teeth I am sure their service will be just as good. It has also helped having an English member of staff to help with the dentist's translations. Also, they don't ask for the full price upfront, just about 60% of the £2800 fee. (not lira!) If you are concerned about travelling to Turkey to have your teeth fixed, don't be. Just make sure you come to Dent Medica in Bodrum. Definitely worth 11 out of 10!
