Sarah Hamilton

Biography:
Sarah works with adults and teenagers from age 16 upwards, offering both long-term psychotherapy and short-term counselling, and providing an accepting and compassionate environment in which you can safely explore your difficulties. Because certain counselling styles suit some people more than others, Sarah draws from a range of approaches to suit your needs – whether you want practical support with a difficult issue, or a space to reflect and grow. She is particularly experienced at working with a mindful experience of the body and mind to ease stressful emotions and memories.

John Barrett

Biography:
John has extensive experience in short term work and offers a focused approach to assist you in concentrating on your key issues. After an initial assessment, this enables you to experience change in your life earlier than would be the case with open-ended long-term work, and makes therapy much more affordable. As an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, John incorporates whatever theoretical approaches might assist you in your work. He provides a warm and collaborative space where you can develop fresh perspectives and a new sense of what’s possible.

Corinne Hall

Biography:
Corinne has worked for a number of years as a therapeutic counsellor and offers short and longer term counselling. She has experience of working with a diverse client base and a wide range of issues, using an integrative framework. The use of a flexible approach allows Corinne to provide a safe, confidential and warm environment giving her clients the freedom to explore emotional difficulties. Corinne believes that the quality of the relationship between herself and the client is enhanced by her empathetic approach and her commitment to building a space of trust and understanding for each individual.

Lucy Christopher

Biography:
Lucy works with adults, offering both short-term and long-term therapy. Lucy’s approach is based on the belief that, given the right support, everyone has the capacity to make changes in their life, and that painful experiences from the past can be healed and overcome. Lucy engages collaboratively with clients to find a way of working that best suits each person’s specific issues. Her approach draws on Gestalt, Existentialism, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. Lucy has a specific interest in anxiety, panic attacks and trauma. She is also currently undertaking research into how focusing on the body can complement the more traditional ‘talking therapies’ to relieve psychological stress and tension.
