Biography:
Mark became a chartered physiotherapist in 2000 on completion of Bsc(Hons) in Physiotherapy from Teesside university where he was achieved the award of best overall student on his course. Since then Mark has worked hard at improving his knowledge and skills through training on muscle balance and rehabilitation, acupuncture, osteopathic manipulative techniques, sports injuries and is currently in the final stages of completing a masters degree in musculoskeletal practice. He started his career at Ipswich hospital working for 5 years as part of a team in outpatients, orthopaedics and accident and emergency. In order to develop his skills in sports injuries further, Mark spent 3 years working at Ipswich town football club diagnosing and managing acute sports injuries through full rehabilitation back onto the pitch. Mark now works in the regions biggest multidisciplinary clinic, Gilmour Piper, in Ipswich and Newman Physiotherapy at Framfield Medical Centre, a purpose built state of the art facility in Woodbridge. After playing competitive football for many years, Mark now enjoys playing squash, tennis, golf and in the last year he has taken up triathlon giving him an in depth understanding of training demands and sports specific rehabilitation.

James studied physiotherapy at the university of Hertfordshire qualifying in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) degree. He worked at Ipswich hospital for the 4 years and also with Ipswich town football club for the 3 years. James’ work at Ipswich hospital included the assessment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body and treatment with manual therapy, electrotherapy, exercise therapy and hydrotherapy. He was also involved in the pre/post operative treatment of common orthopaedic conditions such as hip/knee replacement and routine shoulder and knee surgery. At Ipswich town football club his work involved preventative therapy and the treatment and rehabilitation of acute sporting injuries in children and young adults.
