Keith James Physiotherapy - Westbury Park

Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1987 as a Chartered Physiotherapist. He gained extensive experience working as a junior physiotherapist at King’s College Hospital, London. Following this, he travelled throughout Asia, New Zealand and Australia, where he gained further physiotherapy experience in various large teaching hospitals in Sydney. On returning to England, Keith took up a senior physiotherapist post at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, consolidating his knowledge and skill in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. From 1991 to 1996, he was the team physiotherapist for Bristol Rovers Football Club. In 1996, he transferred to Bristol Rugby Club, acting as head physiotherapist until 2003. Since 1991, alongside his achievements in the professional sporting field, he has built up his own private practice. In 2001, he opened his present clinic in Westbury Park, which has successfully expanded to cover both sports injury physiotherapy and allied complementary treatments. In 2006, he took over the speciality physiotherapy clinic at Litfield House Medical Centre in Clifton. Keith is committed to high standards of clinical practice and patient care and is convinced of the value of physiotherapy in treatment of physical injuries.

Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the West Middlesex Hospital, London in 1978 and then worked at Frenchay and Cossham Hospitals. Enid started in private practice in 1995 and has worked at Litfield House since then. She also has had experience within other private clinics within Bristol. Enid treats a variety of ailments specialising in musculoskeletal problems, especially injuries sustained from road traffic accidents e.g. whiplash, headaches and soft tissue dysfunctions. Dizziness is also a speciality. Following many years of experience, Enid recognises the value of patient self-management. This is especially true for musculoskeletal problems, where root causes can be aggravated by everyday activities. Her aim is to achieve full recovery and provide the patient with the knowledge and skills to prevent recurrence of problems.

Graduated from the Cardiff School of Podiatry at the University of Wales in 1994. As well as being in private practice for the last 15 years, Chris also works for the local health authority as a musculoskeletal podiatrist. Chris treats all grades of patients including elite and professional athletes. He has contacts with several local professional rugby and football clubs and regularly sees players from these teams. Chris’ area of special interest is the treatment of runners who land primary on the forefoot.
