About Back 2 Fitness

Mr Colin McLelland

Job Title:
Owner and Director of Back2Fitness Scotland Ltd, Colin is dual qualified as both a Sports Scientist and Chartered Physiotherapist.
Colin has a wealth of experience and knowledge working in professional sport as a player, coach and clinician. Having been forced to retire from professional rugby due to injury, Colin is able to empathise with all athletes when injuries occur and can share in their frustrations when unable to compete or train. Colin has always focused his career on excellence both in the sporting and medical world, aiming to provide the best service to every individual.
Having spent the last 8 years as Head Physiotherapist for Hibernian Football Club, Colin has previously also worked for the Scottish Football Association, the Scottish Rugby Union and in private Sports Science and Medical practices, working with many elite and world class athletes and the general public. These athletes have included internationally recognised and world champions in many sporting disciplines.
Colin has also previously worked as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Manager for a major health and fitness club chain as well as coaching to a high level in various sports including rugby union.
Colin specialises in Physiotherapy, and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine, Physio First, Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Association Football. He uses a number of techniques and methods in his assessment and treatment of injuries, and applies his knowledge and experience to deliver a first class service to all clients. He is also very proactive in Pre-habilitation, identifying and resolving problems before they occur.
Colin is also an experienced Sports Scientist and is a member of BASES. He therefore is qualified to deliver and lead the fitness and dietary services which is Back2Sport.

Mr Bill Kerr

Job Title:
Back2Fitness podiatrist Bill Kerr has many years experience in providing specialist podiatry treatments for elite sportsmen and women. He provides a podiatry service to Hibernian Football Club, Edinburgh Rugby and the Scottish Rugby team.  He also carries out consultancy work with other Scottish Premier League football clubs and other sports including golf and athletics.
Apart from his vast knowledge of clinical skills, Bill is well respected within the academic community having worked for Queen Margaret University for numerous years and was also awarded a Fellow of the College of Podiatrists (FCPodMed) in 2008. Bill is also one of UK’s specialists in Forensic Podiatry.
As do all the clinicans within Back2Fitness, Bill works holstically within the team, in order to get the best results for you.

Paul Reape

Job Title:
He is a Chartered Physiotherapist who has worked in both private practice and the NHS. He is a keen sportsman and has worked with a number of teams and athletes providing expert advice and treatment. Paul competes in triathlon and has a love fitness in general.
