Cathryn graduated from Coventry university as a chartered physiotherapist in 1994. Since then she has worked in the NHS, GP practice, private practice, with sports teams and in industry within an occupational health setting. During this time she has gained extensive experience in the field of musculo-skeletal medicine. Throughout her career Cathryn has also sought clinical excellence by attending post graduate courses. Cathryn incorporates these areas of expertise into treatment sessions to assist rehabilitation. Some include; joint manipulations, soft tissue techniques such as stretches and massage, exercise/sports rehabilitation, clinical pilates, postural adjustments and ergonomic/work place assessments. Cathryn assesses and treats looking at the ‘whole person’ and how lifestyle and stress can affect physical symptoms. She has found acupuncture a useful adjunct in treating these factors. In 2003 Cathryn brought all her practical experience and theoretical knowledge together in gaining a Masters in Manual Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation from Perth University, Australia.
