About Power Physiotherapy

Canta Clinic, previously known as Power Physiotherapy is a Clinic which prides itself on professionalism and patient centred care, delivered with expertise and precision. The clinic is passionate about optimising human function and movement to maximise physical potential. Canta Clinic Physiotherapy is devoted to working with people to prevent, assess and treat functional impairments caused by injury, illness or aspects of their lifestyle (e.g. poor posture), using physical interventions including manual techniques, massage, exercise therapy, acupuncture and clinical Pilates in addition to providing education and advice.

Canta Clinic Physiotherapy was founded with a simple mission “to show the people in the locality what a chartered physiotherapist can offer. To give science and evidence based professional treatments to best serve the patient and allow them a safe return to full function efficiently, without causing unnecessary discomfort”.

William is a native of Carlow and comes from a sporting background, with Gaelic football being his first love. He played with Carlow from a young age right up to senior level. In 2005 he broke his leg against Offaly in the senior championship and it was this that led him to become a physiotherapist. William has undertaken a number of post graduate courses to further his knowledge, keeping up to date with all the latest literature, allowing him to make the correct and best clinical decisions for the benefit of the patient. The courses undertaken by him are listed below:

• Kinesio taping Sept 10

• Sports Trauma Management (CPR) December 2010

• Manual concepts (certificate in Spinal manual Therapy) Jan-Apr 2011

• The shoulder steps to successful treatment April 2011

• Understanding shoulder instability April 2011

Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist Consultation

I've attended numerous physiotherapists in Carlow. I've only had a couple of sessions with William and it's the first time I've seen any improvement. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
