Mr Mohamed Taha

Biography:
After graduating from British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007, he went on to treat patients across various clinics in Central and North West London. With a holistic view in healthcare, he helps his patients achieve better health, with his skill and experience of hands-on treatment, as well as the combination of acupuncture, naturopathy, corrective exercise and postural re-education. he took a very keen interest in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation from early on, as one of reasons he pursued a career in osteopathy was from his injuries in the rugby field. His interests also lie in work-related strains. He is a qualified assessor in workstation ergonomics, providing practical solutions in reducing work related injury. He takes special interest in prenatal and postnatal care, helping to relieve and prevent many pregnancy problems and enabled mothers-to-be to feel pain free, relaxed and energetic throughout their pregnancy, as well as helping new mothers return to full physical function after delivery.

Ms Heather Amin

Biography:
After graduating from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007, she went on to specialise her training with legendary pioneer osteopaths such as Viola Frymann and the late John Wernham, fine tuning and perfecting age old structural and cranio-sacral techniques with specific application in the complex field of treatment in newborns and infants. She returned to her home town and became a founder member and co-owner of Osteopathy House in New Brunswick, Canada, along side her husband Katen, where she dedicated her professional career to the practice of general osteopathic medicine and the inter-connectivity of body systems. Her knowledge and areas of speciality covers an array of areas including the TMJ, infants and newborns, obstetrics, Traffic Accident cervical/whiplash injuries and shoulder complex/frozen shoulder problems. Her specialist knowledge in multiple areas and plethora of cleverly mastered treatment techniques has enabled Heather to help solve very complicated cases all of which has been reinforced through her years of experience and practice.

Mr Katen Amin

Biography:
A passionate believer in the promotion of wellbeing through the philosophy of osteopathy, he has taken a diverse, global route to get to where he is today. His engineering background and analytical mind has driven him to the sub-continent to study the science of yoga and ayurveda; to Canada to pursue his passion for rock climbing, snowboarding and kite-surfing and to South America to cultivate his hand in permaculture, carpentry and a life of self-sufficiency. As a result he has been able to selectively combine the best of his experiences and techniques in his treatment approach to assist individuals in a vast array of conditions. He graduated from British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 after which his continued passion in osteopathy has propelled him further in becoming a global practitioner in the field, lending his hand to international osteopathic clinics of excellence in the UK, USA, New Zealand, India and Canada. His knowledge and experience has been built upon the training undertaken at these international institutions under the guidance of master osteopathic practitioners such as Viola Frymann at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, San Diego and Renzo Mollinari (Canada/UK) as well as a handful of other internationally revered naturopathic, yogic, ayurvedic and osteopathic practitioners. In 2008 he went on to become co-founder/owner of Osteopathy House, NB in Canada and during his time in general practice has spent over 6 years specialising in the prevention and treatment of low back and cervical pain. Amongst his vast repertoire of skills he has developed a unique style of technique for treating disc injuries, sciatica, sacro-iliac and spinal pain. His techniques for treatment are effective and incur minimal pain. His approach cleverly integrates a specific order of positioning techniques which re-program the injured tissue responses where the faulty activation of nociceptor pain receptors are switched off. Combined with carefully managed functional movement work and corresponding rehabilitation program the individual is empowered to prevent further injury.
