What is Reiki? Reiki is the name given to a system of natural healing commonly called ‘palm healing’. This ‘Universal Life Force Energy’ is channelled through the practitioner to the recipient and is an effective complimentary healing method. There is no belief system or religion attached to Reiki so anyone can receive a Reiki treatment. You will be asked to lie down (or sit if this is easier) and you will remain fully clothed.   Your practitioner will also give you some aftercare advice following your treatment. It is important you follow this advice to enable you to get the most from your treatment. You may also need further treatments of Reiki at another time, so try not to see treatment as a ‘quick fix’. Please note:      Reiki cannot and will not be used to diagnose. Reiki Practitioners are not trained in diagnosis or prognosis, only doctors may legally do this.
