Graduate in medicine and surgery from the University of Navarra and specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital Basurto, training I have completed postgraduate both d'Auvergne University (France) as a specialist in laparoscopic surgery, as in University of Paris IX as an expert in hysteroscopy. also am associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of the Basque Country, Professor of the Basque School Endoscopy / Euskal Endoskopia Eskola, Chairman of the section of Gynecology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Bilbao and Director of CEGYMF. my passion for Gynaecology has been very present in my entire career, through collaborations in courses and conferences, many of whom have organized with the collaboration of my fellow CEGYMF.

Degree in Medicine from the UPV and Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital de Basurto, has actively practiced obstetrics and everything related to it. always with the support of his partner and mentor, Dr. Gorostiaga, who encouraged his interest in the subspecialty of Fetal Medicine, performed at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital Level III training in obstetric ultrasound and 4 courses that make up Diploma in Fetal Medicine (Fetal Medicine Foundation). Also passionate about surgery, specifically for minimally invasive, has conducted theoretical and practical courses in various centers of reference in endoscopy (Hospital de Bellvitge, Barcelona Clinic, La Fe de Valencia). Currently, the team is making progress in laparoscopic surgery for single port, new in our area and with promising results.

He joined in 2009, with professional experience at the University Hospital of Basurto, Bilbao. He is an expert in colposcopy and cervical pathology and active member of the Basque Society of Contraception. Enamorado teamwork, has worked as an organizer and speaker at courses cervical and vulvar pathology and protocols SEC-SEGO on hormonal contraception.
