Many of our clients transition through a fully comprehensive strength and conditioning programme at our local facilities in order to further develop strength, agility and skills to maximise performance and reduce the chances of injury re-occurrence. Treatments for acute trauma, tendinopathies, muscle strains, ligament sprains and joint dysfunction are carried out at the Injury Active Clinic (IAC) using a multi-directional, evidence based approach. Injury Active clinic provide leading injury assessments, sports massage, rehabilitation and manual therapy. We are a front running sports injury clinic providing the latest assessment and treatment services to help those suffering from pain and dysfunction as a result of a sports, occupation or lifestyle injury.

Karen and Nick set up "Silverstone Sports & Remedial Massage" after qualifying as Sports & Remedial Massage Practitioners, through the NLSSM. We are full members of the Institute of Sports & Remedial Massage, the Sports Massage Association, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the General Council for Massage therapy. In addition, we are qualified Sports Therpists, affiliated to the Sports Therapy Organisation. Working primarily from our dedicated treatment room in St Albans, Hertfordshire, we also offer a mobile service visiting clients (subject to access and parking). Alternatively, we are available through the BodyBalance Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic within the Hertfordshire Sports Village at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield. Karen and Nick are both Sports Massage Practitioners for the eastern region of the English Institute of Sport, the Herts Sports Partnership, TASS and are recognised PruHealth providers. We are both actively involved in sport and have used our own experiences to provide a higher level of treatment and expertise. As well as dealing with injuries caused through sport, a large proportion of our client base comes from anybody who might have a general 'injury', for instance; had a sore back or a tight calf, suffered whiplash, had their neck going into spasm, it could in fact be caused by any sort of activity what so ever!.
