Acupressure Hertfordshire

I visited the center after spending the last year with problems with my legs. Acupuncture has always been successful for me, so I decided to see if it will possibly would give me relief. The doctor was very understanding and seemed to pinpoint my problem immediately. He then proceeded with the acupuncture and recommended some medicine, 24 hours later the pain was minimal. I was able to walk further. I am looking forward to my next appointments, as I know it will only get better. I do recommend this centre and the doctor.

We are thrilled and delighted with the improvements in my mom's health thanks to Dr. Chau's insight and expertise. Above all, we are grateful for his kind heart and caring manner. I cannot recommend him highly enough, whatever problem you may have! I took mum (age 88) to Dr. Chau after she was put on beta-blockers by a GP in South Africa for high blood pressure, which slowed her heart rate and left her hobbling. Her left leg felt as hard as dead wood, there was no feeling in it. She also had acid reflux, constant stomachache, and incredibly itchy skin and she had fungal toenails. Naturally, with all this, she was unable to sleep well and felt terrible most of the time. Another GP I consulted in Watford gave her a further prescription for beta-blockers, without further investigations. We turned to Dr. Chau hoping he could find the source of the problems. He immediately pinpointed a previously undiagnosed clot in the leg, said he was able to help us and only a few visits later the large clot has almost disappeared after he administered acupuncture and Chinese medicine. We are reducing the beta-blockers gradually under his direction with a view to eliminating them altogether and all her other problems have improved dramatically. She is walking normally, no stomach pain or acid reflux and once off the beta-blockers entirely she should have no more itchy skin. Even the toenails have improved, although it will take some weeks before the nails grow out and return to normal. As Dr. Chau explained, he looks at the whole body and uses acupuncture to get it working well and in harmony, rather than focussing on and treating just one symptom or condition. Was it good value? In my opinion, absolutely. I chose this clinic because when I phoned. Dr Chau answered the phone himself and I liked his honest, straightforward approach. I believe that if he thought he could not help us, he would have said so. At the first visit, he asked very pertinent questions and quickly progressed to the heart of the matter. It was clear to me that he cares deeply about helping his patients and explains very carefully what he proposes to do and how it will help you.
