I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts. I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother. Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results. I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts.

I was very nervous about my appointment. After speaking to the doctor and the staff, I was soon at ease. Everything was fully explained and the operation went very smooth. Within a couple of hours my eye settled, I was amazed by the difference it made. Money well spent and I would highly recommend this clinic.

Both my husband and I had Lasik laser done by Dr. Dilek Uzer. She was very kind and attentive, she has attention to detail which we both liked. She explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions we had before and after the surgery. She does very thorough eye tests before commencing the surgery and explained all the details of the outcome of the eye tests. During surgery, she was very reassuring and gentle, the surgery was painless and very quick, we could almost see clearly immediately. We both needed the laser as we both have bad vision, I choose Dr. Dilek because of previous very good reviews as well as, when we first met her, she made us feel comfortable instantly. Also she has over 25 years of experience and uses only the best technology and laser. According to your test results she would recommend the best type of laser for your eyes as the clinic has different types of technology she can use! She is very honest. The Laser was also very good value, as you got great service and great results. I would recommend Dr. Dilek to anyone that wants to have eye laser as I honestly cannot fault her.
