Jane’s professional background is based in secondary and tertiary education where she was Academic Principal and Director of Studies for a private college in Cape Town. She experienced firsthand the pressures and stresses of adolescents and young adults, which may affect performance and create anxieties in later life. Jane has been practising Hypnosis since 2004, her approach is integrative therapy, offering a professional service within a creative and relaxed environment thus allowing for safe and effective ways of achieving changes in life. Jane studied at the University of Cape Town, obtaining a B.Soc.Sc in Psychology and Social Work.Her interest in hypnosis and it's significant successes in this enlightened field,led her to study with the SA Institute of Hypnosis. She extended her studies in London,in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) which views problems and symptoms stemming from negative beliefs, reasons, emotions and thoughts which can cause or trigger problems,and often sabotage goals. CBH assists in detecting, examining and reducing stresses to enable effective and positive change, personally and/or professionally.
