The patient undergoing a Direct Follicle Implant (DFI ™) does not need to shave off hair for the procedure. The doctor begins the replacement procedure after the administration of an update dosage of local anesthesia. Then the doctor begins the direct extraction of the hair follicles from the back of the head. This is done at the back of the head since this area has good donor hair follicles. Once extracted, in our in-house method we can directly implant the follicle on to the required site, but they are preserved in an American fertilizer solution which negates the chances of follical wastage, as they are outside scalp and getting proper nourishment. The chances of follicle wastage are reduced drastically to just 10%.. Amazing huh.., Traditional FUE yields 30% of wastage . Once the implants are done, the head will look full of small little sprouts of hair. Initially the hair will fall off but will re grow for good and the implanted crop will be full bloom in fourth month onward.

FUE  Hair Transplant  (Follicular Unit Extraction ) is a latest method of hair transplant. It does not leave visible scar at the back the head.  In FUE, a small instrument is used to take out the hair root unit (graft) one by one from donor area. It does not involve cutting out strip of skin as in FUT hair transplant.FUE is minimally invasive procedure resulting in less post-operative pain and restrictions in movement.Advantages of FUE Hair TransplantFUE is good for patients who want to keep their hair very short after transplant. Recovery after FUE is faster. Patient can resume their activities soon after the procedure.For patients having a very tight scalp, FUE hair transplant is recommended because stitching of FUT becomes difficult.FUE hair transplant also allows the surgeon to remove hair from other parts of the body such as the beard, chest, back,legs etc. This is very helpful in people who do not have sufficient donor hair at the back of the head.FUE can be used to cover the scar of previous hair transplant surgery.
