I had a colonoscopy done as a preventative diagnostic because of family history. There were no polyps but they would have been removed if present. From initial consultation with the doctor to the procedure took three days in Budapest. A translator was on hand when needed. Everything was done to very high standards, communication was always easy and fast. I will come back when it is time to do one again. The cost was 490 EUR which was 170 for the initial consultation, 30 for a blood test and 290 for the colonoscopy. Biopsy of any material removed would have been 30EUR per sample if needed. Excellent all round from initial communication via email to being picked up at the airport and treated. Costs were precisely as set out via email at the beginning. English was well spoken by all the staff I dealt with and Aniko the translator and coordinator were wonderful. The clinic is easy to get to and in a nice area. I walked up from the city centre a couple of times, but the metro or taxi was also easy.

I did work at the hospital when I was younger building the bungalows and maintenance. I never thought I would end up using the hospital, but I must say the staff and Doctors are amazing. I only wish I was in a position to get private insurance as that is the only hospital I would use if I had the choice.

Myself and my best friend travelled to Turkey for our FUE appointment with Golden Med Hair in February 2022. I was very satisfied with the information provided leading up to the appointment and couldn’t speak highly enough of our agent Eman. Everything was taken care of from transport from/to the airport, accommodation and clinic. The accommodation was basic but clean and tidy. It wasn’t far from the clinic and a driver was always there on time to take us to our destination. The clinic itself is very professional and clean. On arrival to the clinic, the surgeon assessed our hair loss and devised a plan which was well explained to us beforehand. The staff at the clinic were great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Food and medication was provided at the clinic throughout our operation and we were made to feel very welcome/comfortable throughout. It’s been almost 9 months since the operation and I am delighted with the results. Eman has kept in touch frequently even after the operation to check how we have been doing and to assess our progress, asking for photos etc. I couldn’t recommend Golden Med Hair enough and have already convinced a few friends to book their own transplant surgery in the near future.

I had a gastric sleeve a month ago I opted for the robot procedure it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve had the best treatment at the hospital. All the staff were friendly and supportive. All the tests they performed were rigorous and thorough. My surgeon who performed the procedure was Prof Dr Abdulkadir Bedirli he was fabulous from start to finish he came to see me after the opp and then every day to see how I was. The hospital was so clean and tidy- every room had en suite. The nurses were attentive to the patients individual needs. Even the international team who liaised with me from the beginning to the end where fantastic answering all my questions.

I had COPD. I went to Egemed Hospital for balloon therapy. A very clean hospital. Thank you very much for all the doctors. I'm very good right now.
