IUI - Intrauterine Insemination Sofia

Fantastic experience from start to finish at Nadezhda hospital. We felt in very safe hands with Dr Stamenov. His calm mannered, friendly and expert approach made us feel at ease and we had every confidence in him. We travelled from the UK after previously undergoing fertility treatment in a UK clinic without success. The treatment and experience we received at Nadezhda hospital were far superior. One of the main differences we found was that we saw Dr Stamenov at every appointment. During the stimulation phase, we regularly attended the clinic so he could perform scans and amend medication where necessary. He also carried out egg collections and embryo transfers. He is so passionate and you really feel that he genuinely cares. In our eyes, he is a miracle worker! Our treatment was facilitated by Iva and colleagues from Medspa. We can’t sing their praises enough, they were highly professional, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We are a same-sex couple in our early 40’s so both decided to have IVF treatment at the same time using donor sperm from the hospital. Amazingly we both became pregnant first time after frozen embryo transfer. Sadly one of us miscarried, however, we are now proud parents of a beautiful baby boy and we have frozen embryos stored at the clinic for future use. We found travelling to and from Sofia relatively easy, we treated each visit as a bit of a holiday and enjoyed taking in the sights and local food. Everything was excellent value for money. After a long time spent researching clinics abroad, we are so glad that we decided to use Nadezhda hospital and Medspa. We would highly recommend the clinic to anyone considering fertility treatment.
