Absolutely incredible! I initially went to an optometrist who soon realised I needed to see a specialist eye surgeon urgently! This was two days before flying abroad! Dr McKelvie was professional, prompt and saw me within 1/2 hour and noted after examining me that I have a significant right lower eyelid chalazion that requires surgical intervention. We discussed the risks, benefits, and likely outcomes of incision and curettage of the chalazion. The procedure was performed from the inside of the lid to minimise scarring I am happy to report that Dr James had excellent bedside manner, he performed the procedure, and all I had was minimal bruising under the eye. Dr McKelvie is a legend and also operated on my mums cateracts and laser surgery! Highly recommend the surgeon, beautiful nature, bedside manner and extraordinarily excellent patient care!
