I have been a patient of the Hanlon family medical team for over thirty years commencing way back at their Drumartin practice in Leixlip when I was attended to by Dr.Hanlon Senior ( Michael ) a lovely down-to-earth approachable, attentive caring gentleman and doctor with a magnificent sense of humour. On his retirement, I and my son David had the good fortune to become a patient of his son Dr. David Hanlon in Glen Easton Medical Centre who followed in his father’s footsteps, another down-to-earth, approachable, caring, attentive and a super diagnostic doctor. Over the many years of attending him I have always received first-class care and attention and a spot-on accurate diagnosis. Through the many years he has always managed my stressful persona with such a knowledgable, caring and considerate attitude even taking time to make follow up calls often well outside his official hours To my great horror in recent years he took up a new position with the HSE and unfortunately has very limited time in the practice. Due to this I am finding it very hard to make the adjustment of attending and having the same faith/trust in the other doctors that I have built with him over the years as they have very big shoes to fill where I’m concerned. This being said I have had the pleasure of attending Dr Mary Hanlon. Again like Dr. David she is extremely down to earth with no airs and graces, extremely approachable and caring and makes you feel at ease from the outset. She also always returns my phone calls within a few hours of my requesting a call back from her. Regarding the reception staff, some are very nice while others sometimes come across as a bit abrupt and a bit authoritarian which I like to think may be due to pressure of work and time constraints rather than anything else. Here I must mention receptionist Marie who I miss greatly and had the pleasure of dealing with for many many years and who blended in so well with the ethos of the Hanlon family, no airs and graces , friendly, down to earth but very efficient at the same time. I can only say from my many years dealing with Glen Easton I only have the very best to say about my experience with them and the care given to me and my son through the years for which I am most thankful. I couldn’t recommend this practice and their team highly enough!
I've asked for help on whatclinic , out of 7 clinics only Primrose Gate Medical Centre replied to me. The secretary called me and I got an appointment immediately. Both the secretary and the GP were very nice, I got all the information I needed. I would strongly recommend this clinic!
With the advent of Digital GP services, we forget the value of a GP physically seeing you in person. Was able to get the support needed after visiting GP in person & it meant getting a serious issue dealt with sooner that i didn't realise was more significant than I thought. Even more importantly, Dr Nolan followed up with me that evening to check on how I got on in the A&E, which was unexpected but very, very welcome. Showed me how much she cares about each person they see.
Excellent service. Dr Tor was Great at explaining matters in detail to me. Which left me feeling I was in good hands. I go back to him for everything now. Paul meath
