Biography:
Daniel Glass is a specialist Dermatologist trained in the UK and registered with the GMC. After qualifying at the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1999, he completed his postgraduate medical training in London. For more than 10 years he has specialised in Dermatology and would be happy to consult for you and your family’s skin care needs. When Dr Glass is not seeing patients at his private clinic on Harley Street, he serves as lead clinician for skin cancer and consultant dermatologist at North West London Hopsitals NHS Trust. In addition, he contributes to Mount Vernon Hospital Centre as an Honorary Consultant Dermatologist. Patients throughout London consult with Dr Glass on all their skin care concerns, including psoriasis, eczema, acne, skin cancer and rashes. He performs skin surgery and mole evaluations on a regular basis, including for benign lesions typically not covered by the NHS and insurance companies. He also provides treatment options for excessive sweating and keloid scars. Since 1993, Dr Glass has been actively involved in skin care research. He draws on the research he conducted on skin ageing and the genetic foundation of melanoma to enhance his clinical practice. His research was supported by grants from the European Union and The Wellcome trust, and was awarded by the acclaimed MRC Fellowship. The research he undertook on skin ageing has resulted in invitations to speak at international dermatology conferences. Dr Glass’ contribution to several book chapters and authorship of publications in high impact industry journals attest to his international credentials. Dr Glass serves as a Clinical Research Fellow at King’s College London and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London, teaching postgraduate and undergraduate students. He serves as the Dermatology Representative at North West London Cancer Alliance, and is interested in improving outcomes in skin cancer.
