I emailed Dr. Kent on Tuesday night explaining I had a milia on my eyelid that I wanted to have removed. First thing Wednesday morning I had an email back offering me a free consultation. I contacted Dr. Kent’s secretary and made an appointment for the following Saturday. Dr. Kent was brilliant. He explained that he could not use laser to remove the milia as it was too close to my eye, and he recommended another treatment which involved micro needles which would apply an electric current. I was very happy to have the treatment as I was very self-conscious and wanted the milia gone. The treatment only took about 15 minutes and I was delighted with the result. It was painful towards the end but nothing unbearable. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent, he was polite, he explained everything to me, answered my questions and put me at ease. The surgery and waiting room were bright and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Sam. After years of discomfort and embarrassment due to phimosis, I finally decided to get it resolved via circumcision. Like most men, the idea of having that type of surgery was worrying, to say the least, but I could not have chosen a better clinic to go to. From the initial consultation, Dr. Sam gave me incredible advice, outlining the various options and outcomes, and provided all of the important information that I needed to make my decision. He made every step completely straightforward and was on hand for any and all questions that I had before and after the procedure. Naturally, on the day of the surgery, I was quite nervous, but I had no reason to be. The procedure was 100% pain-free, and I was sitting up having coffee before I knew it! (Great coffee by the way!). I'm 2 weeks post-op, and the recovery has been a breeze. I have already recommended Dr. Sam to a few other people who are looking to have the same procedure done, and will continue to recommend him due to the amazing results and professionalism of all the staff. You've given me back my confidence, Dr. Sam, and I cannot thank you enough!

I could not recommend Patrick and his staff highly enough, I attended the clinic in Dec 2021. Patrick identified a seriously concerning mole, and surgically removed it immediately. It was biopsied at SVUH, where stage 1B malignant melanoma was confirmed. Patrick followed up tirelessly with St Vincents to ensure that the necessary surgery and treatment took place as quickly as possible, it was the period of covid. SVUH Dermatology Dept were amazing. the additional surgery and testing confirmed that all of the cancer had been removed with no spread. Patrick's prompt intervention saved my life. lovexxx

After an acne lesion has healed, it can leave a red or hyperpigmented mark on the skin. This is actually not a scar, but rather a post-inflammatory change. The redness or hyperpigmentation is seen as the skin goes through its healing and remodeling process, which takes approximately 6-12 months. If no more acne lesions develop in that area, the skin can heal normally. Any color change or skin defect still present after 1 year is considered to be a permanent defect or scar. This treatment is very safe. Recent advances in laser technologies mean this laser can now be used for acne in all skin types and in the treatment of acne scarring.
Laser Skin Resurfacing €350 - €1500
ActiveFX is the latest advance worldwide in the treatment of aging skin. In essence; it is possibly the most advanced fractional laser procedure presently available in the world today and it can be performed in a single treatment with minimal patient downtime of about 4 to 5 days. Patients should understand this is a real ablative CO2 laser (totally different to other heavily marketed and much less efficient devices such as the desquamative type lasers which, require multiple treatments to achieve a much less favourable result). During fractional treatment, only a portion of the skins surface is treated by the laser, leaving small "bridges" of untouched skin. This technique makes the healing process much quicker and enables patients to get back to their normal life styles sooner. It is also less painful than other skin tightening RF devices .
