Full Dentures Crawley, West Sussex

Today I had a root removed! Ouch! A couple of weeks ago a crown broke off, taking the whole tooth with it. But leaving most of the root behind. So began the removal, but the root would not yield in one piece. Instead, it just broke into many pieces. After bone removal and stitches, it finally came out. Very good service done by a professional.

I don't generally leave reviews, but felt compelled to after my appointment with Kellie yesterday for two front fillings. She was absolutely lovely, as was the dental nurse, and as a nervous patient, I felt totally relaxed throughout. To some people, my teeth wouldn't be ideal but to me, this has made the biggest difference as I feel I can smile and show my teeth again! I've been a patient with Crabtree Road for approximately 18 years and I recommend the practice to everybody as it's a very friendly place but also extremely knowledgeable and professional. Ideal for anxious people! 5 stars!

Broke my bottom denture right through and took it to victory dental lab who did the repair within the hour. You cannot see where the break was denture looks the same as before the damage. Graeme was very helpful in some other information and service I wanted. So very happy with the service reasonable price too.

Astek have their dental lab on site which is how I believe all dentists should be set up. I had a front tooth knocked out in a childhood accident and have since been very conscious of the way my smile looks. In today's world of working on Teams and video calls for the main part, this was becoming more and more problematic for me. So along with attending appointments with my dentist, Leila, for general dentistry she took impressions and Ailsa, the proprietor, created two bespoke veneers to make my front teeth appear more normal and worked with both me and my lovely dentist, to tailor my smile when I wasn’t initially delighted with the result - cancelling afternoon appointments until we were done. Two veneers sound a simple, ordinary thing, but I actually didn’t have two front teeth to work with – just one front tooth and a smaller, differently shaped, side tooth which looked quite odd. I now don’t even think about my teeth when I’m on screen which is such a relief. Thank you so much Astek! To say I am a nervous patient is an understatement. Leila has been so patient and kind with me and I am so much more confident in the chair with her. She has also managed to sort out gum issues that have persisted for over 40 years, and now when I’m brushing my teeth there is no sign of anything in the sink but toothpaste. She also keeps me on track when I’m not doing as well as I should be, advising on which brushes, and toothpaste for sensitivity, and even demonstrating that you can get the largest of teepees into some very small spaces. I was a patient of Andy Kershbaumer 22 years ago and he was brilliant. I fully agree with another reviewer in that I never experienced pain when getting treatment. I am back in Scotland and after two visits stopped going to the dentist as they were vicious. Andy was always friendly and I hope he continues to prosper.
