A crown rebuilds a tooth that needs more protection than an ordinary filling can give. It is made to fit your tooth and then cemented in place. Crowns usually take two appointments: at the first the tooth is prepared, an impression or scan is taken and a temporary is fitted, and at the second the final crown is fitted. Private crowns are from £595 per tooth and gold crowns from £924 per tooth. We see both NHS and private patients.

A single implant with its crown is from £1,495, plus £149 for the CBCT scan and implant planning. Implant treatment is led by Vikas Sharda, who holds postgraduate qualifications in implant dentistry. An implant consultation answers three questions: is an implant suitable for you, what would it involve and what would it cost, in writing. Where imaging is needed, a CBCT scan is taken in-house at the same visit to measure the bone and locate nerves and sinuses. The process commonly takes three to six months from placement to the final tooth, because the implant needs time to integrate with the bone. 0% finance is available on private treatment from £250.
Dental Bridges from £495
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth with a false tooth held in place by crowns on the teeth either side of the gap. It's fixed, so it doesn't come out, and it's usually the quickest fixed option. Private porcelain bridges are from £495 per unit. An assessment looks at the gap, the teeth beside it and your bite, and we'll tell you plainly whether a bridge, an implant or a denture suits your gap best, with prices in writing before anything starts.
Inlay or Onlay from £595
An inlay or onlay rebuilds part of a tooth that needs more protection than an ordinary filling can give, covering less of the tooth than a crown. It is made to fit your tooth and then cemented in place. Inlays and onlays usually take two appointments, with the restoration made in between, and are from £595 per tooth. Initially, I attended Haymarket Dental post-Covid when my NHS dentist could not assist with regular appointments. I have just completed what I would call an a complete mouth makeover. It wasn't t a quick fix but I have had Invisalign treatment on my upper teeth having had squint teeth since childhood and three implants on missing teeth. My smile is completely different and people have commented on the difference it has made. Dr Vineeth Balachandran was excellent in explaining procedure options and cost from the outset. I would throughly recommend him as someone who dreaded a filling to be able to have nine appointments and really not worry was probably the best commendation I can make. The nurses and ambience in the surgery is very friendly. I have seen a very caring understanding approach to patients in the waiting room from a nearby care home with a patient who was anxious and upset. As a retired nurse I was impressed. I cannot recommend this surgery enough. It is never to late to improve your smile. (I'm 65).
