Edward graduated from Dundee University in 1998 and has since built up an extensive experience in all aspects of dental care. After spending time working as a maxillo-facial surgery house officer in hospitals in and around Bristol, Edward furthered his knowledge and gained the highly respected MFDS qualification awarded from the royal college of surgeons, Edinburgh in 2004. Edward has special interests in Implant and cosmetic dentistry and dedicates most of his post- graduate education to these areas. Asides from being a dentist Edward enjoys keeping fit and spends much time writing and producing music.

Hi, my name is David Madruga. I qualified as a Dental Surgeon at the University Complutense of Madrid in 2006. I have worked in several practices in the UK since 2006, taking care of NHS, Private and Denplan patients and successfully helped to develop several Conscious Sedation/Implant referral centres across the country. The Oxford Society of Oral Implantology awarded me with a Postgraduate Certificate in Comprehensive Oral Implantology and Prosthetics in 2008. Furthermore, in 2009 I completed a second year in Advanced Implantology and Bone Graft Surgery organised by the above Society and the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lille II (France). I was awarded with the Diploma of Member of Joint of Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng) in 2009, from where I completed a Diploma leading to an Msc in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons (London). This qualification is currently considered the gold standard in postgraduate training in Implant Dentistry in UK. I have also carried out research work in the field of bone regeneration and plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF) at the University of Leeds, which served me to obtain a Masters Degree in Clinical Dentistry (Implant Dentistry). In 2013, I completed an intensive 2-year postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Periodontology, organised by the Department of Biomaterials/Handicap Research of the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), under the supervision of world renown Professor Dr Thomas Albrektsson. During the past few years I have also attended a variety of national and international courses in oral rehabilitation, implant and aesthetic dentistry (France, Spain, Germany, USA). In 2013, I became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of General Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons of England - FFGDP RCS (Eng), in recognition to my contribution to primary care dentistry and the FGDP development. I was appointed Fellowship Adviser of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (Royal College of Surgeons of England) and elected board member of the Fellowship Development Group in 2014. I currently combine my clinical work with my other passion, teaching and mentoring other dentists interested in furthering their knowledge in different fields of dentistry. At present, I work as a Tutor of the prestigious Diploma in Implant Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In addition, I have recently been awarded Fellowship of the prestigious Higher Education Academy in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education. I currently lead a highly qualified team in Conscious Sedation, Dental Implantology and Periodontics, taking both internal and external referrals. We carry out all forms of implant dentistry from basic dental Implantology to more complex cases requiring bone-grafting procedures. We perform immediate placement/loading of implants and "same day teeth" full mouth rehabilitations, reducing surgery time and healing processes and allowing our patients to leave the practice with fixed implant-supported restorations on the same day! Marta obtained her Bachelor degree in dentistry from the international Univesity of Catalonia(Barcelona) in 2005. In 2007, she also completed an MSc in Endodontics after two years post-graduate study in Barcelona. Marta`s treatment is purley limited to Endodontics (root canal treatment) and invests all her time and education in this area, regularly attending and speaking at national and international congresses. Marta has been accepting referrals from other dentists for many years and is well known and respected in London and the surrounding area. Married with two children, Marta enjoys family life and is an excellent cook.
