About European Dental Implant Expert

I am delighted to offer a Dental Implant Clinic based at Lyme Bay Dentistry. I am the UK's first European expert in dental implants and past president of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK).

I offer the very best in advanced dental implant surgery using the Ankylos Dental Implant system.  With more than 50 dental practices in Dorset, Devon and Somerset referring patients with missing teeth for dental implants to me. I have placed over 2,000 implants cases in the last 20 years, from a single missing tooth to full mouth reconstructions and experience with all major implant systems, Strauman, Nobel Biocare, Bicon, to name just a few.

I can offer patients a full Implant service. I can place a single dental implant to a full mouth reconstruction. I am skilled in advanced techniques to build bone where it has been lost. So that you can have that smile to be proud of.

My colleagues describe me as "Experienced and an expert in his field, plus he’s a remarkably nice chap".  I hold clinic's in Lyme Regis on Tuesday, Thursday's and Fridays, as well as clinics in Exeter and Wimborne.

Biography:

Dr Philip Bennett is one of the UK’s most experienced implant surgeons, he has been placing and restoring implants since 1989 and has a wealth of knowledge in the field.  Recognised as an opinion leader for several implant companies, he still teaches both nationally and internationally on the subject.  He is a former President and Director of Education of the Association of Implantology (UK), also the originator of their trusted ARK online education system.  He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists (USA), and an accredited “Expert in Implantology” from the European Dental Association.  He has been an invited speaker on many prestigious implant courses including the Royal College of Surgeons Implant Diploma and the University of Salford’s Implant MSc.

When he is not enjoying his implants, he likes to be with his family, fly fish and watch motorsport, as a former official dentist to the British Grand Prix, he has some great stories..
