Robin Smith Dental

GDC Number 60516. He moved to Macclesfield at the age of 6, attending Gawsworth Primary School and The King’s School, Macclesfield. He qualified from Bristol University in 1985 and has worked in a variety of dental settings in Kent, London and Newcastle-under-Lyme, including as a community dentist, before returning to his roots to set up practice here in 1995. His time in the community means that he is experienced with a wide range of patients and their needs and very understanding with children and nervous patients. He is strongly committed to preventive dentistry. Robin regularly attends training courses to help maintain a high standard of dentistry. He lives near to Macclesfield High School with his wife and two sons. Robin has two grown up sons, one back and to from university and one who has just left home. Robin likes to spend his free time gardening and hiking.

GDC No 3458. She iis our dental hygienist and, after qualifying as a dental nurse in the 1980s at Bristol, she successfully qualified as a hygienist in 1987 at Newcastle.

Senior Dental Nurse. GDC number 108927. She is a highly experienced dental nurse, having worked as such since 1977, qualifying in 1980 and working at our building from 1982. She has worked as an orthodontic dental nurse and during her time with us successfully passed a course in dental radiography at the University of Keele. Wendy is married with three children and lives on a farm. In her spare time she enjoys horseriding and walking.
