Having done some research on “What Clinic”I eventually decided to book an appointment with Nano Dental. A couple of emails and a picture of my mouth and an informal assessment was made for me before I flew out for my two weeks in Altinkum. Having landed at Bodrum airport late Sunday night, my appointment was made for theTuesday at midday. First impressions were very good as the Scottish receptionist welcomed me to the practice (so sorry I’ve forgotten your name). After a short while she called me through to meet my Dentist, who then did several X-rays of my mouth/jaw. We then sat down and discussed the various treatments that are available and the costs involved, may I add here that there was never any pressure to proceed with the treatment, no sales pitch just total professionalism. All costs were shown to me in advance, £7000 for all the treatments half upfront. After 24 hours I took the plunge and went for 8 extractions and 9 implants, my teeth were a mess to be honest at 61yrs old!! Thursday morning I arrived at Nano Dental practice and had four extractions from my upper jaw and 9 implants in a 2.5 hour session! Afterwards I was given a prescription for some pretty powerful pain killers and a bottle of burning strong mouthwash! Two tablets a day (NO ALCOHOL)!! and rinse the mouth out morning and night and we’ll see you Saturday for part 2! Having had the majority of the work done on Thursday, Saturday was a bit of a breeze really having another 4 extractions with a filling thrown in! But also a set of temporary teeth! Things were Progressing nicely at this stage but my gums were slightly tender(no surprise there). Another appointment for Monday was agreed on so he could check on my progress and take some moulds of my upper and lower pallet. Returned as arranged on the Wednesday for some more inspection and a bit of grinding to a few teeth for fitment purposes and was introduced to my new set of knashes! Wow Fridays next appointment was the fitment of my new dentures, they cement them to any remaining teeth (they are temporary )until my implants have fused to my jaw bones. I chose to return next year to have the final fit done, but they say anywhere after 12weeks is acceptable, my flights already booked and I already have a huge grin 😁 on my face! They look fantastic and I feel I have my mojo back! A huge thank you Nano Clinic and all of your hard working staff for your time and professionalism it really is appreciated from me! Also to my dental surgeon who is one of the most laidback characters I’ve met, you are a star my friend! Thanks for all your wicked tunes whilst working away and your calming demeanour. Gentle Gentle did my teeth. I’m 66 last April. They did a great job. I had loads of treatments: sinus lift, bone graft, and all new crowns. They don’t speak a lot of English, but they have a great guy that does interpreting. A lot cheaper than Sevil. Cost me for the whole lot £7,500. It would have cost me £25,000 in England. Went for a check-up in England. My dentist was well impressed with my teeth. I have got a holiday apartment there. Lots of English people live there and go to the dentist and doctors there with no trouble. Caroline.
I enquired about work needed on my teeth whilst I was on holiday in Didim, the staff are all amazing, but I do have to give a special mention to Dr Tugbek Yildirim,Turgut Yildirim and Nazlicon Bilge who all looked after me when I went in for my treatment which was a deep clean and whitening, it was the first time I'd had treatment outside the UK so I was very nervous, they were all superb with me, I will be going back to have other work done and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the international dental center in Didim for a brilliant service and great prices. I was thinking about getting a smile makeover treatment in Turkey when I came across Zirve Dental clinic on WhatClinic. I got in touch with them and they were so helpful! They set up an online consultation with the doctor, who was really nice and explained all the treatment choices and how long it would take. Then we planned the procedure together. I was lucky enough to be able to visit Didim for a whole week in September, which is when my smile makeover officially began! I've always been self-conscious about the colour and gaps between my teeth. They made me look older than my age, so I got 20 veneers (10 upper teeth and 10 lower teeth) to match the colour. They look perfect! Dr. Fatma is just the loveliest, most polite, and informative doctor you could imagine. He's like a close friend to you during the treatments. There was no pain, just a very minimal preparation of my teeth, no sensitivity, and the result is just so natural! My teeth look white and natural at the same time, which I think is something not all doctors can offer you. The total cost of the treatment is much better than at lots of other clinics (both in Turkey and abroad), and it even includes a thorough dental cleaning and night guards. The clinic is really easy to get to by public transport, which was great as I didn't know Didim at all. I had a lovely place to stay and a great trip. Thanks so much for all your help and interest.
