Great service from start to finish! Was picked up the airport on arrival, taken to the hotel and picked up every day for treatment and anything else necessary. Was given lifts to the shops if I needed something and was constantly in contact during my procedure. Would highly recommend to anyone requiring this service. Would give higher than 5* if possible.

I was told by my dentist that my upper bridge would have to be replaced with a denture or implants. I had an assessment for implants which was too expensive for me and resigned myself to an upper denture. I decided to check the cost overseas and contacted the clinic of Dr. Karim. The response was fast and they were prepared to discuss all my concerns and give me a detailed quote, which in my case depended on the amount of bone augmentation needed. On arrival, I was met by their English speaking rep and taken to meet the dentist who was playing golf. He arranged there and then for me to have a cone scan that afternoon and met me at the clinic afterward. As my dentist in the UK had stated, I needed bone augmentation all around the top jaw and because of the extent of this he advised a general anesthetic and a stay at a local private clinic. He arranged a consultation with a maxillofacial surgeon the next day and an overnight stay at a private clinic was arranged for the day after. I was taken to all the appointments and returned to my hotel by the English speaking rep Walid. I had a private room at the clinic, had an ECG and chest x-ray and then the procedure performed by the maxillofacial surgeon. The private clinic was spotless and highly efficient and I was on an antibiotic drip and monitored through the night. I was visited after surgery by the dentist, the surgeon, the rep, and, a nice touch, one of the receptionists from the clinic. The rep arranged the discharge medication of antibiotics and paracetamol and mouthwash and returned me to my hotel the next morning. I had a check-up 24 hours later and everyone was very pleased. I had stitches all along my upper gums but little discomfort. I was seen again by Dr. Karim a few days later and fitted for a temporary denture. It is now 2 weeks since the surgery and I am healing well. I have to wait for 6 months for the mouth to settle before having the implants and then they will have to settle before the final visit to fit the fixed a bridge on the 9 implants to replace all the teeth 14 in total. The initial quote has remained the same and I am paying a third on each visit. Because of the amount of work that I knew I needed doing I was very anxious beforehand, however, my experience was very positive. I am very impressed so far with Dr. Karim and his team and have no hesitation in highly recommending them to others. I will continue the review after my second and third sessions. I only gave 4 stars because I am, part way through the treatment - watch this space.
