Bone Graft
  • Bone Grafting

    1. Socket Augmentation
    (Socket Preservation)
    - After the extraction of teeth, there is resorption of the alveolar ridge resulting in loss of height and width. The reduction in width occurs primarily on the buccal side of the edentulous ridge, creating a potential esthetic problem for prosthetic or implant dentistry. Today, using socket preservation techniques, it is possible to preserve the height and width of the edentulous ridge. This is particularly important for placement of dental implants allowing for more ideal placement for the final esthetics with improved emergence profile and gingival architecture.
  • Socket Augmentation  = 20,000 Baht

    2.  Sinus Lift- A sinus lift is surgery that adds bone to your upper jaw in the area of your molars and premolars. Its sometimes called a sinus augmentation. The bone is added between your jaw and the maxillary sinuses, which are on either side of your nose. To make room for the bone, the sinus membrane has to be moved upward, or "lifted." A sinus lift usually is done by a specialist. This could be either an oral and maxillofacial surgeon or a periodontist.
  • Sinus lift = 20,000 - 40,000 Baht

Dental Bridges
  • A bridge, also known as a fixed denture, is made to replace one or more missing teeth. Bridge can be supported in any of three ways:
    1.By natural teeth
    2.By implants
3.By a combination of teeth and implants.
  •  A traditional bridge is made by creating a crown for the teeth on either side of the space and placing a false tooth or teeth between the crown. The crowns, sometimes called caps, can be supported by natural teeth or by implants. The false tooth or teeth are attached to the crowns and fill the empty space.
  • If the teeth receiving the crowns are healthy and strong, they probably will not need root canal therapy. However, parts of the teeth will be removed to make space for the crowns. Traditional bridges are made either of porcelain fused to metal (PFM) or ceramics.
  • Getting a bridge requires at least two visits, but often more. At the first visit, your dentist prepares the teeth and covers them with temporary crowns. The dentist may also make impressions of the teeth.
  • The bridge is placed at later visits. On average, bridges last five to seven years. A major reason bridges fail is that new cavities develop on the supporting teeth. These cavities occur because of poor oral hygiene. With proper hygiene, which includes flossing your teeth under the bridge, they will last longer.
  • Length of stay (in Phuket) : Around 8 – 14 days
  • The number of visits : 2 – 3 visits
  • Note: This is the estimation without root canal treatment
  • Dental bridge costs vary depending on several factors, including type and/or material of the bridge, the length of your “span,” or the number of teeth being replaced.
฿21000 - ฿60000
3-Unit Bridge
  • Traditional fixed bridge: With this dental bridge, three crowns are fused together to replace the middle tooth of the three. Traditional fixed bridges are the most common type of dental bridge.
  • Dental bridge costs vary depending on several factors, including type and/or material of the bridge, the length of your “span,” or the number of teeth being replaced.

  • 3 Unit Bridges: All ceramic
     = 33,000-39,000  Baht
  • 3 Unit Bridges: Porcelain fused to metal
     = 21,000-54,000 Baht
  • 3 Unit Bridges: Full metal
    = 21,000-60,000 Baht
from ฿160000
Implant Bridge
  • An implant-supported bridge is similar to a regular dental bridge, but it is supported by implants and not by natural teeth. In most cases, when an implant-supported bridge is used, one implant is placed in the jawbone for each missing tooth. Then the crowns are connected to each other to form one piece.
  • 2 Implant supported bridge (3 Unit Bridges)
    = 160,000 Baht

Maryland Bridge
  • The Maryland dental bridge

is one of a few types of bridges used to replace teeth. Named for the University of Maryland, where it was developed, this bridge is resin-retained and commonly used to replace the front teeth. A pontic (false tooth) is attached to metal bands that are hidden with a white-colored composite resin and attached to the back sides of the teeth on either side of the pontic.
  • A Maryland bridge consists of a metal framework with a porcelain tooth baked on to the front of the framework. The framework then ends up as a false tooth with two metal wings on the side. These metal wings are prepared to have a porous surface so that they can receive a bonding agent, and then the wings are bonded to the back sides of the teeth on either side of the missing tooth. The picture on the right shows how this looks.
  •  Maryland bridge = 33,000 Baht

Dental Checkup
  • Most children and adults should see their dentist for a regular cleaning and check up every six months.
  • People at a greater risk for oral diseases should have dental check ups more than twice a year. Tobacco and alcohol use, diabetes, pregnancy, periodontal and gum disease, poor oral hygiene and certain medical conditions are some of the many factors that your dentist takes into consideration when deciding how often you need your dental cleaning and check up.

Dental Implants
  • Implants are the modern way to replace missing teeth. An implant is placed in bone where the tooth root would have originally been. When it has fused to the bone it can be restored with individual crowns, or bridges or can be used to retain dentures. They are relatively more expensive and require time whilst they integrate with bone. However they form a very solid platform to support further restoration and when used to replace a single missing tooth, or multiple teeth with separate crowns you will be able to floss between them like natural teeth.
  • Single Dental Implant (Astra Tech at System) (Include Implant Fixture + Crown)
    = 65,000 Baht/Tooth
from ฿65000
Single Implant
  • Implants are the modern way to replace missing teeth. The implant, which is made of titanium, is fitted in bone where the tooth root would normally be. When fully integrated to the bone, a post (or abutment) is attached to the implant and a crown can be placed over the abutment to replace the missing tooth.
  • Single Dental Implant
    (Astra Tech at System) = 65,000 Baht/Tooth

Dental X-Ray
  • Dental x-rays are a type of picture of the teeth and mouth. X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation, just like visible light.
  • They are of higher energy, however, and can penetrate the body to form an image on film.Structures that are dense (such as silver fillings or metal restoration) will block most of the photons and will appear white on developed film. Structures containing air will be black on film, and teeth, tissue, and fluid will appear as shades of gray.
  • Intra-oral x-ray   = 150 Baht/Film
  • Panoramic x-ray = 650 Baht/Film
฿150
Traditional Dental X-Ray
  • Portable X-Ray (PORT-XII) generates and controls X-Ray in order to acquire images for teeth and jaw.
  • Light weight enables the ultimate mobility.
Small dose of radiation keeps patients and dentists safer.
  • High performance tube and HFG make sharp and clear images.

Veneers
  • Dental veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface.
  • There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer, composite and dental porcelain.
  • Composite resin veneers = 2,000 Baht/Tooth
  • Porcelain veneers = 11,000 Baht/Tooth
    But for 6 teeth = 10,000 Baht/Tooth
฿2000
Composite Veneers
  • Composite resin veneers are a cheaper alternative to other types of veneers such as porcelain veneers.
  • Advantages of composite resin veneers There are few benefits of this veneer. They are a good choice if you have a small crack or chip in a tooth as they will hide this nicely as well as protecting the rest of the tooth. Plus they are a good option for anyone on a budget.
  • There are more disadvantages than advantages of this type of veneer. They may be cheaper but they are not as durable as other types of veneers which mean that they will have to be replaced more often. So, you may end up paying more than if you have purchased the porcelain veneers.
  • Typically, a direct composite veneer lasts no more than 2 years. Plus they are more prone to staining or discolouration than other veneers. Their relative weakness means that they are more likely to break or fall off your tooth and they are not as natural looking as the other types of veneers.
  • This is an important consideration if you are looking for a pearly white smile.

  • Composite resin veneers = 2,000 Baht/Tooth
฿10000 - ฿11000
Porcelain Veneers
  • Porcelain veneer or porcelain laminated veneers is a thin shell of porcelain / ceramic that is bonded onto the front surface of a tooth so to improve its cosmetic appearance.
  • They will repair teeth that are discolored, worn down, chipped or broken, misaligned or irregularly shaped tooth.
  • They are translucent, thin laminates made to improve the esthetics (shape, spacing, color) of your natural teeth, to correct crowding.
  • Porcelain veneers = 11,000 Baht/Tooth

    But for 6 teeth = 10,000 Baht/Tooth
