Calpe Dental

I visited this clinic in July for six veneers and paid €3,000 for the treatment. Unfortunately, the outcome did not meet my expectations, and I would like to share my experience to help others make an informed decision.

After the procedure, I noticed several issues with the veneers, including differences in colour between the upper and lower teeth, a bulky appearance, and a result that did not look natural or aligned. When I raised these concerns, I did not feel fully heard or supported in exploring possible solutions.

I also had difficulties with the temporary bridge, which I wore for almost a month. It broke before my final appointment, leaving my natural teeth exposed and very sensitive. I found this period uncomfortable, and it added a lot of stress to the process.

Because I was still dissatisfied with the final appearance and fit, I decided to seek further treatment elsewhere in early August. During that visit, the dentist explained their assessment of the previous preparation work and discussed the options available to correct it. I chose to restart the treatment in full.

This experience was very challenging for me, both emotionally and financially. I hope that by sharing my personal experience, future patients can feel more prepared to ask all the questions they need before undergoing similar treatments.

I made an appointment for a free first visit with Calpe Dental after seeing advertisements in the Costa Blanca newspaper.
One of my front crowns kept falling off so I decided to have 2 implants with 2 teeth bridged between them. I was given a detailed plan & quotation, excellent service from the whole team, including the competent receptionist.
Joel explained the process & was given paperwork with all the details.

As an anxious patient, I was reassured & have to say the extractions & implants were not as bad as I had feared.
Using the antibiotics, mouthwash & painkillers made the healing process easy to manage.

As we visit the area twice a year the timing worked out well. We are in the area in May & October. It was necessary to have appointments about a week apart on 2 visits. The temporary plate was used for 6 months to allow proper healing - The final 2 visits could have been done earlier after 3 or 4 months but we planned it to coincide with our holiday.
