The academically driven Advanced Clinic for Oral Diseases offers unique, comprehensive diagnostics and management for common and uncommon oral ailment,s comprising a complete review of your medical and oral health history, a thorough clinical examination, and meticulous diagnostics supported by a comprehensive array of laboratory analyses. These methods include the sampling and histopathological interpretation of the full possible range of tissue specimens and cytology specimens, blood chemistry, haematology and immunology. If called for, immediate on-site cytology and rapid tissue diagnoses by using frozen section analysis are offered. Special diagnostic techniques include immunofluorescence investigations of oral vesiculo-bullous disease and state-of-the-art liquid-based cytology for cancer screening. I perform the sampling and interpretation of the laboratory results myself, and as such, I can obtain a good grasp of the causes and the nature of your mouth disease.
These results will then be evaluated in line with your general state of health, and proper, efficient therapy and monitoring can be started or a suitable referral made. The whole process occurs in a very unpressurised manner, to assist the patient with understanding and handling their oral diseases.
