Born in 1974 in Zemun, he graduated at the top of his class in dentistry at the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad in 1998. A year later, he began working at the Maxillofacial surgery clinic of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, where he spent 20 years, even operating as head of the Department of traumatology for a period of time. He was Assistant Professor in Maxillofacial surgery at the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad.
Two years ago, he left his position at the Clinical Center of Vojvodina in order to focus on his practice, thus founding Markov Dental Clinic. Moreover, Dr. Markov is a certified implantologist for state-of-the-art dental implant systems – Nobel biocare and Ankylos. He is a noted guest speaker at a number of international professional symposiums.
He has authored more than 100 professional papers in domestic and foreign magazines. He is a member of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
