Very good dentist who has the background to do any dental procedure you might need. The staff is very professional and friendly and everyone has great English skills so us gringos coming across for treatment have no problems at all. I should also add that the building and equipment are nice and modern.

I'm 60 years old and have had a lot of very expensive dental work done over the years and I can say unequivocally that this was my best experience. The office was immaculate, everyone was super nice, and spoke perfect English. I was actually 1.5 hours late for my appointment because I had phone problems and got lost. Dr. Ortiz still did the work and it was actually painless. My typical dental visit leaves me a sweaty mess and then I cry when I get the in car. No sweat or tears this time! I'm ecstatic with his work and the prices are fantastic compared to the US as well.

Hands down the best dentist in Agua Prieta! Prices and excellent service! I've gone in (3) different times without appt. And he still fit me into his schedule. Equipment is top of the line and his new office is clean and comfortable. Definitely worth the drive from Az to Mexico.

TOOTH EXTRACTION

Despite not having an appointment, Dr. Ortiz saw me immediately. His English is perfect and his work is outstanding. He is very professional and friendly. It seems I have a new dentist! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and have told my friends about him as well. He even provided me with transportation back to the border port of entry after my treatment!

I recently did a few root canals at Dental Artistic. Dr Ortiz did a perfect job. X rays show exact fillings at the apex for each canal. The post RC pain (which is normal and inevitable) is minimal. I can bite and eat 2 or 3 days after RC. The clinic is about 1.3km from border crossing. The 6Y9 bus will take you directly to the clinic, walking in Agua Prieta is safe during the day.

Cleaning, 3 Fillings, Night Guard

Dr. Ortiz was very knowledgeable, courteous and proficient. He offered to pick me up at the border. When I got to his office, it was well furnished and clean. I hadn't had dental work done in so long, I wasn't sure how many fillings I would need, if any, or what other work I would need. I ended up getting a cleaning and having three fillings put in. The fillings are all composite and are perfectly done. Dr. Ortiz replaced an old amalgam filling I had with a composite filling, and didn't even charge me to remove the old filling; he charged me the same price for the replacement filling as he charged for the other two new fillings that were not replacing old fillings. I had money left over at the end, so I asked if he would fit me for a night guard, which he did, and for which I paid one fourth of what my mother paid for hers--and she has health insurance. After I returned to Phoenix, the night guard was delivered less than a week after my appointment with Dr. Ortiz. It fit perfectly and was exactly the same as the one my mother had gotten in Phoenix. Dr. Ortiz called me to make sure that I received the night guard and that it fit properly. I am already planning a trip back to Agua Prieta for another cleaning with some friends who also need work done.

The Dentist spoke perfect English and was very professional. The office was really clean and modern and the treatment was awesome. The price was exactly what I was quoted and the workmanship was top notch. I had a cleaning and a crown prep and the shot didn't hurt at all (he has a new technique)!

I am very pleased with the treatment received. The dentist explained in a very detailed way. He has a machine that dispenses anaesthesia through a computer which makes dentistry more pleasant and painless. I did a full set of veneers on my front teeth, and I just paid $2100 for all of them, that wasn't even half of what my old dentist charged me. I think the dentist liked them so much that he asked permission to take a picture and add it to his album. He seems very passionate about his work. I totally recommend this Dr. Ortiz, and he prefers for you to call him Cris.

The Dr. is super nice, its super clean, very comfortable, I didn't had to be in the waiting room, total discretion, easy payment options and multiple treatment options. I do recommend it at all.
