I received very prompt treatment & excellent care, the very next dayMervyn, Ireland, 25 11 20

Life Savers! Following my SOS e-mail, in the middle of the Night, I received very prompt treatment & excellent care, the very next day! Then, I had a further 3 extractions, and 2 cappings, at a very good value, over the next 3/4 weeks. Finally, I have booked in for a further filling, in the New Year, getting the treatment & attention, long overdue! I would recommend Dr John Murphy & his team to anyone! Yours gratefully,

1.Does it look natural? Yes, impressions are taken on the day of your visit and sent out to a dental laboratory. Along with a shape, size and colour  code to match your other teeth perfectly.2.How should I take care of my crown? Avoid chewing on hard foods or ice. Also avoid teeth grinding. 3.How long does it take to get a crown? Initially, we will remove decay, prepare the tooth to the ideal shape for the crown, and fit it with a temporary crown made of a plastic material. The amount of the tooth removed will be the same as the thickness of the crown. Once the tooth is shaped, the dentist will take an impression (mould) of the prepared tooth, one of the opposite jaw and possibly another to mark the way you bite together. The impressions will then be given to the dental technician, along with an appropriate shade and other information needed for the crown to be made. On your next visit we take off the temporary crown and fit the final crown, cementing it into place so you have a new, beautiful-looking tooth. 4.What is a crown made of? New materials are constantly being introduced as dental technology advances.  Here are some popular choices: Porcelain bonded to precious (or non-precious) metal. This is what most crowns are made from. A metal base is made and then porcelain is applied in layers over it.

I massively appreciated the high level of communication and explanation throughout every aspectJeanne, Ireland, 21 07 23

Absolutely incredible dental care experience from Dr Colbert today. It felt as if my humble tooth was being aesthetically attended to by the hands of a friendly, medically expert, enormously experienced and caring fine artist…( the treatment involved the bonding of a veneer onto a horrid exposed root on a tooth whose lifespan we wish to extend as much as possible). I massively appreciated the high level of communication and explanation throughout every aspect of this and other recent treatments. I consider myself blessed to have my pearly whites in Dr Colbert’s care, particularly in relation to her observations of and sensitivity to my own personal needs. Beautiful and calming clinic. Massive thanks.
