Treatment Duration: Two to three 60 minute visits. Dentures are replacement teeth that can be worn, taken out and placed back in the mouth as you wish. Dentures are used because of tooth loss, decay or accident. While modern dentures do take some time to get used to, they are very natural looking and comfortable to wear. There are different types of denture: Conventional full denture Immediate full denture Partial denture Our dentist will suggest the best type of denture depending on your individual case and aesthetic requirement. Dentures are custom made in a lab by a specialist technician. What to expect when you visit White Smile Dental for a denture: Once you have made your appointment you will be sent a reminder text the day before with your appointment details and our address. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a new patient form with your medical history and take a seat in our comfortable waiting area. When called for your appointment, our dentist will greet you and explore all options for your denture. We will listen to your requirements and together you will make a treatment plan outlining the time frame for the procedure and also exact cost. Your denture will take two visits (sometimes more) to complete. During your first visit impressions and xrays will be taken to be sent to the laboratory to be made. At your second appointment a week or so later your new denture will be fitted.

Treatment Duration: two visits. 60 minutes for crown preparation and 30 minutes for crown fit. Crowns or caps as they are sometimes called are tooth shaped covers or caps which fit over a badly damaged/decayed tooth. Dental crowns can dramatically improve the appearance of a person’s smile. All ceramic: Used mostly at the front of the mouth where aesthetics are a priority. The shade of the crown is matched to your natural teeth.
