As an experienced maxillofacial surgeon (facial plastic surgeon) I specialise in head and neck cancer, facial skin cancer, salivary gland disease, microvascular reconstructive surgery, laser surgery and cosmetic facial surgery. In my private practice I see patients from around the UK who want the most current and radiant plastic surgery available. Together with my wife Lin, a registered theatre nurse with more than two decades experience, we offer a full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive treatments.

Jo has been working with Tim and Lin for over five years, and before that she has had a variety of medical secretary positions throughout different hospital departments, including orthopedics and physiotherapy. Her friendly and approachable manner, teamed with her vast knowledge of the procedures offered by Mr Mellor, makes her a valuable part of the team.

Lin trained as an SRN at The Royal Masonic Hospital in London and remained working in the operating theatres as a staff nurse until moving to a post at the London Hospital in Whitechapel in 1979. In the 80s Lin worked as a Marie Curie nurse caring for terminally ill patients in their own homes. After a spell as a theatre nurse in Cardiff, Lin took a job with a medical laser company and began teaching medical practitioners how to use lasers and Intense Pulsed Light Systems (IPL).
