I first met Dr. Madhukumar for a Gynecomastia correction surgery 3 years ago for a relative. The way it went for him, encouraged me to undergo the same correction surgery. I was super happy with the results.

The entire approach towards the procedure, starting with the identification of the extent of the issue, the diagnosis was excellent. He is so humane in his approach as he understands the "fear, pain and embarrassment" the patient has undergone / undergoing. He also counsels the patient before the procedure. Dr. Madhu, during the preparation to the surgery has extensively documented the dos and don'ts. Apart from these, the patient is counseled and assured about the possibilities. He ensures that he follows up with the patient and their attendants about the awareness of the after-effects and post-op care. This is extremely helpful to the patient and their families to expect the possible happenings during and after the surgery.

On the day of the surgery, the doctor ensured that we had followed the appropriate steps as documented and explained earlier. During the surgery, he is extremely consoling and very attentive to the patients needs. He is fully aware of the fears and apprehensions of the patient and continually soothes the patient about what is being done and what to expect during the current process. Overall, a great experience during the surgery with himself being fully connected to the patient's condition and his team is very experienced and they play in tandem, exactly as per the plan.

The post operative care and follow-ups by the Doctor is truly appreciative and the care he shows during the recovery is very helpful for the patient and their families. The doctor is together with the patient lock-step-and-barrel from inception to the complete recovery, both psychologically and emotionally. This makes it a wonderful experience and the taboo for a man is removed with a smile.
