Budapest Cosmetic Surgery Clinic

I travelled to Budapest in spring 2022 to have a deep plane facelift and upper blepharoplasty with Dr Rodrigo. Travelling abroad for surgery is always a little nerve-wracking, but Joanna, Dr Rodrigo's assistant, made everything so much easier. She was always available to answer my questions. She is so patient and caring - a wonderful lady. The surgery was carried out in a modern, well equipped clinic. The after care was excellent.

I am thrilled with the results Dr Rodrigo has achieved. I look completely natural, but quite a lot younger and refreshed. The scars are invisible as they are mainly on my scalp under my hair. I believe that the mark of a really good facial cosmetic surgeon is how natural your ears look after surgery. My ears look great (actually looking a bit better than before, if anything, as they seem to lie flatter). Dr Rodrigo truly is an artist.

I am very grateful and so happy I chose this surgeon for my facelift. He may not be the cheapest in Budapest, but he is the best, in my opinion. What I paid was a very significant saving on having the procedure done by a surgeon of this very high standard in the U.K. You just can't take risks when it comes to having work done on your face. You will be in safe hands with Dr Rodrigo.

I had chin surgery at Dr Rodrigo's clinic in September 2019 and it was all in all a great experience! Probably the most professional facial cosmetic surgeon I have ever encountered. The results were great and I cannot wait to see the long-term results! The staff is extremely supportive and helped me with a few logistical issues I had. They are also very good at calming nervous, anxious and stressed patients (like I tend to be) which made the whole experience so much better. Highly recommended!

I was a bit scared to fly to another country to have the plastic surgery that I have wanted for several years but I finally made it happen.

In Scandinavia, most doctors are very careful or should I say too careful. The first comment I got when I had a consultation was often: ”you look good” or ”you don't need this” or ”save your money on something else”.

It's not that I was expecting a miracle, it is my body and I have some things I would like to change that I couldn't change with diet and workout.

With all that Said I have been taken care of by nurse Joanna who has been keeping me updated all the way and I am very thankful for that. And last but not least Dr Vincente Rodrigo, you are not only a doctor, but you are also an artist. I am so thankful and glad that I chose to come to Budapest and get my wishes to come true with the help of you and your staff.

I really want to be honest and say it has not been what I hoped for or wished for. The result is way better than I could ever hope or wished for. When people at work and friends see me they can't see if I have done anything, they all just comment that I look very good, a lot more happy, more ”defined” and lot younger and that is all thanks to you, Dr Vincente Rodrigo.

They said I was crazy for flying to Budapest to get plastic surgery, but I'm very happy with my experience. My eyelids were sagging to the point where I was having a hard time reading, but my insurance in the U.S. wouldn't pay for elective surgery. Dr Rodrigo's staff (particularly the office manager Joanna) were very helpful and professional, explaining exactly what to expect and how to prepare for the surgery. The hospital was a little scary looking (very Cold War Soviet-feeling, or maybe a little like a U.S. mental hospital in the 1950s), but the plastic surgery clinic inside was very nice and modern feeling. Most of the staff spoke at least some English, so there were minimal communication problems. It's been 3 weeks since the surgery and while I still have a little swelling, I can already see better.

I would recommend getting to Budapest a few days before surgery to prepare (I made some meals so I wouldn't have to go out or cook while recovering, and grocery shopping in Hungarian is a challenge), and a few days afterwards to rest.

I am 6 weeks post op from a deep plane face/ neck lift & upper eyelid surgery. I researched a few clinics in Budapest, read lots of reviews. A lot of them were less expensive but were too flash & gimmicky. I chose Dr Rodrigo's clinic as I felt it was more about safer surgery & aftercare than gimmicks. I felt this was a must being from the UK. I would rather pay extra for Safer surgery than gimmicks. The staff were excellent. Dr Rodrigo's assistant Joanna was very attentive to my needs & arrangements for me. Any questions I had pre & post op were answered swiftly. She is at the end of the phone offering advice if I needed it. As a nurse myself, I felt that I was really cared for in the hospital. The hospital is quite old but clean & is very central in Budapest. I felt at ease during the hospital stay/visits & all of my clinic visits for aftercare. I am so pleased with my result and the whole experience that I am organising to go back later in the year for another procedure. Can't wait!

Buccal fat pad removal.

I was always wanted to have a slim face but mine was quite chubby. At first, I didn't know that such a treatment exists. One day on the internet, I read that one of my favourite stars has gone through this surgery and on that day I started to search for a surgeon. I found Dr Rodrigo by this website and it was the rightest choice I did.

In the beginning, I couldn't keep the post-op care, so I had swollen a lot, but it went away just in 3 days. In 2 weeks I saw the result and I love it! Now, it has been a month and I love my face, it's contoured and looks elegant. I found what I was searching for. Definitely, in winter I'll come back for another surgery.

According to the reviews, Dr. Vincente had really good skills. I booked for my butt lift, fat removal and jawline treatments here. I’m quite happy with all the results - it was worth the money.

Everything was located on the second floor of the building. Service and treatment were fine. After my procedures, the clinic checked in to make sure the healing process was on track. A very positive experience overall.

I had a closed Rhinoplasty (regular and tip), Buccal Fat Extraction and a non-surgical chin augmentation. I am two weeks since my surgery and am still swollen (as to be expected) but I feel very good and enjoy looking at the tiny changes I see every day.

The chin augmentation is fantastic and I keep checking myself in the mirror with delight. Hopefully, I will feel the same about my nose and cheeks in the near future.

I chose to have an in-person meeting with Dr. Rodrigo in Budapest for several months before my surgery, so we could discuss expectations and such in person rather than simply sending photos via email. His personal office is nice convenient for travellers.

The hospital was simple and perfectly nice, with wonderful staff and nurses. I stayed in Budapest for 7 days, one of which in the hospital. If I were to do it again I would have stayed longer in the hospital as the food was pretty great.

Dr. Vincente’s price, location and reviews were good, and this prompted me to choose him for upper eyelid surgery. The treatment was excellent value for money and I think I paid the price I found online. I didn’t have to go back.

The only real downside to my experience is that the clinic was a bit older than I’d anticipated. I’m very happy with the results of the surgery, but I’ll have to give them 4 stars because it wasn’t modern enough.

The clinic is an office and the surgery is done at a hospital nearby.

One month ago I underwent the procedure of full facial fat grafting at Dr. Rodrigo's clinic under local anesthesia in my belly and my face. I had a small liposuction to harvest the fat and had it injected into my face, the procedure whole was painless and it took about 1.5 hours to perform. I also received a sedative to stay calm and relaxed. The result is immediately visible and in my case, incredible. But then the swelling starts and reaches a peak after 3 days. I followed carefully the instructions Joanna gave me, this means sleeping on my back, head elevated on a pillow, no alcohol. After one week it was possible to mingle with the public but a little swelling is still there.

Now one month has gone by and I am very happy with the result. The hollowness in the temple area, under my eyes and on my cheeks has disappeared and this means I look really much younger and more rested. It is too early to tell how much of the fat has survived, but for the moment it is ideal. I was very happy with the kindness and help which I received from the gentle Dr. Rodrigo and Joanna, they give you a warm welcome feeling which takes all stress away!

The clinic in Budapest may look old from the outside, but on the 2nd floor of the Plastic Surgery, you arrive in a totally different world, really modern, well equipped and very clean. Also, the office of the doctor is very welcoming and familiar.

I am very grateful for the outstanding results of my Rhinoplasty.

I arrived in Budapest a little nervous give in that I had a not so good experience beforehand, but Joanna was very helpful and reassuring from the very beginning of the process. She always answered any of my concerns without delay.

I have to say that I am now 4 weeks post surgery and this was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr. Rodrigo is amazing, he took one look at me and he knew what would be the best approach to achieve the best outcome!

Before and even after the surgery my experience was wonderful. I had very little discomfort in the first couple of days from the nasal packing, but other than that I had absolutely no pain. The first three days I had moderate swelling on my face and my eyes.I stayed in Budapest for a total of 10 days; during this time, I had to go in for a checkup three times, but I still had enough time and energy to explore the city and ride the train to Visegrad.

This surgery turned out the way I hoped it would. It's very natural and not even noticeable to the naked eye. My co-workers only noticed that I looked great after my return, but they still don't know why. I could recommend Dr. Rodrigo and his staff to anyone who was considering plastic surgery.

The price was also very nice. I was quoted for $ 10,800 locally, but in Hungary, I paid 2,874 EURO about $ 3,350.

The clinic and its employees are wonderful; from the receptionist to the nurses, to the operating room staff, everybody treated me kindly and they were all very professional.
