Dr Edmund Ek Melbourne Eastern Healthcare Village (Consulting Rooms in Boronia)

MBBS (Hons), PGradDip (Surgical Anatomy), FRACS (Plastic Surgery) Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon Senior Lecturer, University of Melbourne graduated from Monash University Medical School with first class honours in 2003. During his medical degree he was the recipient of numerous academic prizes and achievement awards, and graduated as the top student of his graduating class. Having decided at an early stage to pursue a career in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Edmund completed his Basic Surgical Training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, where in 2005 he was awarded the Sir Gordon Gordon-Taylor Prize for obtaining the highest mark in Australasia in his surgical exams. Edmund began his Plastic Surgical training after one year of Advanced General Surgical Training, during which time he trained at all of Melbourne's major Plastic Surgery centres, including the Alfred, Royal Melbourne and Royal Children’s Hospitals.

She has been working with Dr. Ek for two years. As Dr. Ek's P.A., Amy is the first point of contact for our patients, and makes it her mission to ensure that they are looked after, both before and after their procedure. In addition to her background in Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism and also a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Amy has a special interest in plastic surgery, particularly aesthetic procedures such as Breast Augmentation and Abdominoplasty.
