Surgery was fantastic and many thanks to the doctor and his team who made this procedure successfulZarko, US, 08 11 22

I had cataract surgery on September 2022 with Dr. Paul. For both my eyes. Surgery was fantastic and many thanks to Dr. Paul and his team who made this procedure successful. After 50 years with distance glasses I don’t need anymore. If you have a similar problem with cataracts I will highly recommend Dr. Paul. Second importance is that price that I got for first time consultation was same without any hidden costs.

Blepharoplasty AU$1000 - AU$2000
When enquiring please note which type of blepharoplasty you are interested in: Cosmetic blepharoplasty with an aim to re-contour your eyelids but still appear natural.Medical blepharoplasty for elderly patients with skin excess are also offered cosmetic enhancement such as fat remodelling, removal or repositioning to achieve a natural, neat and youthful appearance. Lower lid blepharoplasty is also performed for either wrinkles or puffiness (usually caused by fat prolapse)
Eyelid Surgery
Eye Lift AU$1000 - AU$2000
Regarding cosmetic upper eyelid surgery, the price is $1500 for upper lid blepharoplasty of both eyelids. None of the cost will be covered by either Medicare or Private Health Insurance.  The procedure takes around 45-90 minutes, and is performed with mild sedation and local anaesthetic in the North Adelaide rooms. General anaesthetic or heavy sedation can also be used, but the venue and price will need to be discussed (usually around $4000). It is common to have bruising for around 1 week afterwards and you will have stitches that need to be removed at the 1 week mark. It is possible to use dissolvable stitches but the scar is more noticeable, hence why I remove them.  Serious risks, including infection, are rare ( 000); swelling is common and sometimes quite pronounced; the final result may not be apparent for around 1 - 2 months as some swelling can take a long time to completely resolve. Any further touch up surgery to that eyelid is free of charge if required. Post-operative care is also included in the price. You will need a referral from your local doctor or optometrist addressed to Dr Peter and you can make an appointment by calling . The initial consultation costs around $120 out of pocket (less with referral), but the follow-up appointment post-operatively is included.
Eyelid surgery AU$1000 - AU$3000
Most patients who enquire are interested in cosmetic enhancement of their eyelids and this is not covered by either Medicare or Private Health insurance. If, however, you have a significant amount of overhanging skin of the upper lids then much of the cost is covered.  Price breakdown is as follows (subject to minor changes): # Cosmetic lid surgery performed in the clinic procedure room with only local anaesthetic costs $1500 or up to $3000 if upper and lower lids are done.  # Cosmetic lid surgery performed in a Day Surgery Hospital with heavy sedation as well as local anaesthetic costs around $3000 or up to $5000 if both upper and lower lids are done. # Non-cosmetic upper lid surgery performed in a Day Surgery Hospital with heavy sedation as well as local anaesthetic costs around $500 (with Private Insurance).  Time frame for upper lids alone is around 45 minutes. Lower lids is between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the complexity. Post-operative care is also included in the price. You will need a referral from your local doctor or optometrist addressed to Dr. Peter and you can make an appointment by calling. The initial consultation costs around $60 out of pocket (less for pensioners), but the follow-up appointment post-operatively is included.

I couldn’t fault any aspect of the experienceJanet, Australia, 24 02 26

My Facelift Journey: Honest Reflections, Insights & Practical Advice Decision-Making Process Deciding to have a facelift was a big step for me. I was influenced by two women I loved who regretted not having the procedure earlier in life. My usual treatments—laser and injectables with a reputable cosmetic doctor- weren't delivering the outcomes I wanted anymore, and I wanted to avoid overusing fillers after seeing how unnatural some results could look. As my wrinkles and sagging skin, especially around the jowl line, became more pronounced, I knew it was time to consider something more lasting. After discussing my concerns with the doctor who previously handled my procedures, she advised that only a neck lift could permanently and naturally address my jowl and nasal fold issues. She recommended Dr Ha, whom she trusted for her own future procedures, though she couldn't refer me directly due to professional boundaries. I researched Dr Ha online and was impressed by the subtle enhancements and positive reviews. When I emailed photos of my face and neck to Dr Ha, he responded quickly and honestly, explaining that a neck lift alone wouldn't deliver the youthful look I was hoping for. The indicative price wasn’t prohibitive, but I wrestled with feelings of guilt about splurging on myself. My aunt encouraged me, saying, “if you can afford it, go for it.” Consultations During my decision-making, I was hospitalised for a week with an unrelated sinus / nasal infection requiring surgery. The ENT assured me that my recent operation would not affect my facelift plans. He spoke highly of Dr Ha, calling him the best in Adelaide for the deep plane facelift and confidently predicted I'd be pleased with the outcome. Building up the courage to ask my GP for a neck lift referral took a couple of months. The moment I mentioned my plan, he immediately recommended Dr Ha as the only surgeon to see in Adelaide. So, three different doctors all recommended Dr Ha to me. My husband accompanied me to the consultation with Dr Ha, which lasted about an hour. Dr Ha listened closely to my concerns about aiming for a refreshed, natural look and demonstrated how he would address them, showing us before-and-after photos of women my age. He reassured me that multiple visits were fine if I felt anxious, recognising the gravity of the decision. After further discussions at home, my husband supported my choice, and I scheduled the surgery for a time with no major events, so I could recover quietly. Surgery Experience The facelift was performed under general anaesthetic at a private hospital. Dr Ha’s bedside manner was warm and reassuring. He explained the procedure again thoroughly, detailing where incisions would be made (mostly along the hairline and around the ears) and how the excess skin would be removed for a smoother, firmer look. The surgery took several hours, followed by an overnight stay to monitor my recovery. Recovery Recovery was challenging at first. The initial week brought noticeable swelling and bruising, so I rested, avoided strenuous activity, and slept with my head elevated. Pain was manageable with prescribed medication, though I experienced tightness and numbness for several weeks. An impromptu “surprise” 60th birthday invitation two weeks post-surgery had me worried, but Dr Ha suggested a procedure at another clinic to reduce bruising, which helped immensely. Swelling subsided enough for me to go out, and minor bruising lingered for about a month. At six weeks—and now nineteen weeks out—I am still thrilled with the results. My face looks fresher and more defined, yet still like me. Friends and family commented on how well-rested I appeared, with only one person suspecting I'd had facial surgery. Throughout the process, patience and diligent aftercare were vital. I felt safe and cared for, not just by Dr Ha, but also his staff, the anaesthetist, and the nurses, many of whom plan to have their own procedures with him. I couldn’t fault any aspect of the experience. The office and operating staff were equally welcoming, efficient and reassuring, creating a calm and supportive environment from start to finish. This made me feel more confident, refreshed and grateful to be in such capable hands. Undergoing a facelift was a major decision, but I no longer feel guilty and genuinely appreciate the outcome. For anyone considering this journey, thorough research, honest reflection, and choosing a skilled professional are the keys to a rewarding experience.
