Activator Methods
An activator is a tool that a Chiropractor uses to do specific, gentle adjustments of the spine and extremities, when manipulation is not suitable. Can be used on children, elderly and during pregnancy
Back Pain Treatment
Chiropractors regularly treat back pain, using manipulation, mobilisation, acupuncture, massage and much more
Child Chiropractic Adjustment
Chiropractic care is suitable for children.  Treatment methods are modified to suit the age and size of the patient.
Chiropractic Geriatrics
Chiropractors treat elderly patients for many different aches and pains.  Where needed, the techniques, are modified and gentle to suit the ageing skeleton and more delicate soft tissues.
Chiropractor Consultation

Approximately one hour in duration, a consultation involves us taking a thorough medical histroy and a full examination, including orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic tests.  This is followed by a clear, confidential explanation of the findings and advice as to whether Chiropractic is suitable or  a referral to an alternative professional if necessary.

Prenatal Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic offers care to the pregnant lady, who often cant get care anywhere else for her pregnancy-related aches and pains.  Treatment is adapted to make it safe for mum and baby.  Preventative advice is given to avoid further injury and exercises that are suitable during pregnancy, are demonstrated.
Spinal Manipulation
Specific, accurate manipulation is used on the spine to improve joint function, reduce muscle tension, reduce pressure on the nervous system and in turn, provide pain relief and improved mobility.
Sports Chiropractic
Chiropractors treat all parts of the musculoskeletal system, so help with sprains, strains and muscular problems that occur during sports.

General Practice

Geriatrician Consultation
The Chiropractor can treat elderly patients (Geriatrics) for numerous complaints.  Treatment methods are modified as necessary.

Biomechanical assessment
Chiropractors do a postural analysis and also assess the movement of the joints and soft tissues throughout your body.  Your Chiropractor will then explain to you what they can do to help and what you can do to help yourself also.

Dry Needling

Dry-needling is a form of acupuncture.  It is used in conjunction with other Chiropractic treatment techniques to reduce muscle tension and stimulate the nervous system.  It can be very effective for conditions like Tennis elbow, tendonitis, chronic muscle tension and can give pain relief with osteoarthritis.

Posture Management
A Chiropractor will assess your posture and give you advice and exercises to improve your posture and strengthen the weak postural muscles.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a technique where pressure is applied to tight areas (knots) in a muscle.  It provides great relief to tight areas, especially the neck and shoulders and the low back and buttocks.

Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage gets to the muscles that lie beneath the superficial muscles.  It loosens them and in turn improves their function and flexibility.

Massage is just an integral part of a chiropractic treatment when it is considered necessary.  You will need to book in for a Chiropractic consultation to be examined so the Chiropractor can decide if massage is beneficial for your complaint.

Acupuncturist Consultation
The dry-needling acupuncture is part of the Chiropractic treatment, so does not have its own consultation.  You would need to book in for a consultation with the Chiropractor, who will then decide whether acupuncture would be an appropiate treatment method for you and the complaint you have.
