Rod qualified from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine and completed further training in western acupuncture. He has recently attended further training courses in the treatment of post-natal 

mums and in the management of chronic pain. Rod previously worked as a professional sports therapist and personal trainer; as such he has a keen interest in sports injuries. He has successfully treated a wide variety of patients from international rugby stars to professional dancers, and teenagers with postural issues to senior citizens.

He suggests the most effective way of achieving the best possible results for patients is through a combined approach to patient management, which includes addressing factors relating to posture, exercise, diet and lifestyle in addition to his manual osteopathic treatment.

Rod is also involved in delivering the osteopathy MSc programme at Leeds Metropolitan University. When not working he is a keen (but very average) golfer and he also regularly plays badminton and football.

Sophie Simmons is trained to masters level in osteopathy after completing a 4 year full time course at Leeds Metropolitan University. Since graduation she has further developed her skills completing post graduate cranial osteopathic modules at the Sutherland Cranial College.

Her treatment approach is in the traditional style, treating and considering the whole body. She uses this concept alongside the more gentle style of cranial osteopathy. The combination of these styles makes her treatments effective in treating a wider range of conditions and for adults, children and babies.

In her spare time Sophie enjoys baking, swimming, countryside walks, skiing and reading.

Mar has always been very passionate about finding a natural way of treating any diseases.

She studied naturopathy, iridology and flower remedies of Dr.Bach for three years and has continued to expand her studies of complementary medicine in the “College of Traditional Chinese Medicine “in Madrid (Spain).
Mar holds a certificate of acupuncture and moxibustion by the Institute of TCM " Hailiang Saebe Ma " Bangkok , Thailand and a speciality certificate in ‘Chinese Diet’.

Mar is a member of the Association of TCM practitioners in Spain, “Practitioner’s Register”, and member of the Association of Acupuncturists of Europe (including UK) “PEFOT “(Pan European Federation of TCM Societies).
Mar has practiced as an acupuncturist since 2006, working within clinics in Spain and Southern England from 2009. Her treatments are individual to her patients in that she seeks to restore the physical, psychic and emotional balance of the patient. No patient is the same.

The major pathologies that she has treated have been infertility, pregnancy and post pregnancy, menstrual imbalances, psychological imbalances (depression, insomnia, fatigue, stress, etc.), any kind of pain such as migraines, tendonitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain.

Also any imbalance in the digestive system (nausea , dyspepsia , constipation) respiratory system,(allergies, rhinitis , sinusitis, dyspnoea), genital /urinary system and neurological disorders .
