The Leeds Acupuncture Clinic is situated in Roundhay, NorthLeeds and was established in 1980. It was the first registered clinicpractising acupuncture in the Leeds area. After three years of study, he then went on to qualify atthe British College Of Acupuncture in London in 1980 with honours, and has beenpracticing at the Leeds Acupuncture Clinic ever since. After a further Fouryears of study, he obtained the prestigeous Bachelor Of Acupuncture qualification,followed by Doctorate four years later. He lectures all over the country toDoctors, nurses and specialists who have taken the full initial four yeartraining courses. He has also been an examiner and lecturer at the BritishCollege Of Acupuncture and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council andBritish Acupuncture Association. The Elland Well Being Centre is a newly refurbished centre, having previously been a pub in its hey day.  It is found just at the bend down Briggate in Elland, before the road goes over the bridge towards Brighouse and Sowerby Bridge. The acupuncture room is found on the first floor up a flight of stairs.  It is well furnished with a physiotherapy plinth which allows patients to get on easily, whether they are seated or laid down for treatment.  There is a small waiting area just outside the room on the first floor. The Centre has its own dedicated car part for service users with a disabled space.  Service users then access the Centre via the Entrance there, which has a buzzer system  to let people in outside office hours. At the front of the Centre there is a cafe which is open to members of the public and a small waiting area for day time appointments.  There is a reception area to the front but this is just for the physiotherapy staff only. Appointments are made by telephoning Balquees Ali or emailing. Appointments in Elland are available on Thursdays 9.00 am to 9.00pm.   I also have acupuncture clinics in Huddersfield and Halifax.
