Our aim is to support you on a life time journey of healthy teeth and gums. My name is Liam Esposito and my wife Kate and I have owned the practice since December 2013. We would like to share with you our interesting journey as to how we became owners of such a fantastic practice. There has been a dental practice at 251 Jockey Road since 1956. In 1985 David and Deborah Hughes took over the practice and ran it together for 28 years. Both Kate and I without knowing one another were patients of David and Deborah from our early teens. After many years of asking David how to become a Dentist I eventually opted to become a Dentist and qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2006. I met my wife Kate in 2007 whilst snowboarding in the Alps and we eventually married in 2012. It was somewhat amusing when we realised our families shared the same Dentist. Having got to know David and Deborah over many years, we were extremely proud to have been asked to take over the running of Boldmere Dental Practice. We are now privileged to be part of such a fantastic team and our aim is to assist our patients on a journey of dental health and happiness.

Lead practitioner Mark has been in the industry since 2017. Scalp Doctor® was originally based in the Hall Green suburb of Birmingham, but moved our main clinic to the city centre in 2019 and also had a clinic in Bromsgrove for some time at BHI Parkside medical facility but recently ceased working there and opened another clinic in Long Eaton, Nottingham which is shared with the hair Transplant Company Surgery Group who we work alongside. We only have appointments Mondays and Tuesdays at this location at present. Mark is 1 also of only 3 SMP practitioners in the UK who have managed to raise his company (Scalp Doctor®) standards to those of the medical board BAHRS (British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery)and been accepted as a member due to our strict hygiene practices and additional training.  Scalp Doctor® have clients and trainees come from all over the UK and have clients travel from further a field like France, Kazakstan, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Poland and New Zealand.   Scalp Doctor® have also won lots of awards as follows so you know you're in safe hands! :- 2019 - Finalist in 'Rising Star' category at 'Team Micro- Meeting of Minds' awards (London) 2020 - Finalist in 'Scalp Tech of the year' at 'PMU Conference'(London) 2021 - Winner in 'Scalp Micropigmentation of the year' at SMHBA 2021 - Winner in 'Scalp Micropigmentation Clinic of the year- West Midlands' at 'UK Enterprise awards' 2022 - Finalist in 'Hair Restoration Clinic of the year' -
