She received her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) in 1996 and pre-medical degree, BS Pharmacy, at the University of the Philippines - PGH Manila in 1992. Following medical school, she completed her medical internship at Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center in May 1997 and subsequently passed the medical board on the same year. Then, she underwent residency training in Pediatrics at Delos Santos Medical Center in Quezon City for a year until she decided to pursue a career in Dermatology. She, as she is fondly called by her patients, completed her residency in dermatology at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, an accredited Philippines Dermatology Society Training Institution in December 2003. She became board certified dermatlogist the following year and subsequently became an active fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society. She is a member of the Philippines Academy of Cutaneous Surgery, Philippine Medical Association and Quezon City Medical Assosiation. Her practice has focused on both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is an expert in the treatment of Acne and Acne scars. She treats various skin conditions including eczema, warts, molluscum, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, and all other conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails. She is an expert in the detection and treatment of skin cancers. She removes warts, moles and skin tags and treats both children and adults. She is very experienced in injections of for facial wrinkles and excessive sweating, injection of dermal fillers laser treatment for hair Removal, facial veins, hyperpigmentation such as melasma and freckles. She also performs mesotherapy among other cosmetic dermatological procedures. She regularly attends various trainings, conferences and seminars locally and internationally to keep her updated with the current trends in clinical and cosmetic skin care.
