I flew to Egypt alone from the UK for a BBL(hips and butt) and possible mini tummy tuck ( because my navel was too high for a full tummy tuck). After having Consultation with Dr Ashraf; who is one of the best, warm, friendly and professional plastic surgeons I've ever met in my entire life. They look after you as if you're a family member. I truly believe 'GOD' Sent me to him. The right Doctor for the right cost is what I asked GOD for. My faith is very strong and important to me. I as many others could never afford plastic surgery in my own country United Kingdom. Only the wealthy can afford it. And we're now in a 'cost of living crisis ' even worse than before. The procedure in Cairo went very well. Epidural as opposed to General anesthesia. Being sedated which I loved 😴 My first time in Egypt, so I stayed at a hotel in Giza literally opposite the pyramids for a fuller experience and got some souvenirs while there. The most painful part for me was the lymphatic drainage (many patients say the same thing) I slept on my front and never sat down for the first 2 weeks. After this I could no longer sleep on my front as was too uncomfortable and it was Keeping me awake. I kept ending up on my side or my back. And I sat down after the first 2 weeks for short periods only. You do tend to worry if you're causing harm to your results/end goal, it's a tad stressful. (Many patients also experience this) I didn't have a sleeping plan as such, so I do this the next time. The results speak for themselves (check out my before and after pics) 2 months post-surgery. Before going to Cairo for Surgery, I completely lost my body shape, (square bottom, huge horrible stomach)this ruined my relationship, I couldn't bear the thought of intimacy, I had no social life at all for years, I spent a fortune on 'shapewear 'I was always wearing 'baggy clothes ' to hide under. Age (I'm in my forties) hormones etc, all played a huge part. I did consider prior to Surgery to just lose all the weight by strict diet, but I specifically did it this way as I wanted to use my own body fat to fill out my hips and butt, giving me a much better shape than doing 'the natural way'which wouldn't have gave the same body contour results. And I would've had to have surgery whichever way anyway if you have unwanted excess skin. I've been a slim person my whole life until my forties started and ruined it all. The psychological rewards are life changing😁🙏👏🎉😁 I will be eternally grateful to Dr Ashraf, Ghada and his team. The Nurses in the Hospital were great too! I 💯% highly recommend Dr Ashraf in Cairo. They work very hard and are always busy treating patients from all over the world. I met some from USA and Germany in the waiting room. I am planning to have a second BBL to get maximum results later in the year (many/most women also do this, many celebrities have had BBL x2 minimum, some even 3 rounds, but 2 is usually enough for best results if 50% of fat transfer survives the first time. Plus I was able to get away with not having tummy tuck surgery; avoiding the 'long scar with the dog ears ' I had just liposuction instead as I've never had children. In total the cost for the whole thing (Surgery, flights, Visa and accommodation, covid costs PCR) total approximately £4,000 The cost actually would have been less if not for an additional £250 for covid costs.
