Hey Everyone,
I wanted to wait until I was at least 8 weeks post-op before sharing my honest review. I wasn’t your typical plastic surgery patient—this wasn’t just about looks for me. I wanted to feel better overall.
When I first came to Dr. Ashraf and Dr. Inji, I had a large umbilical hernia, diastasis recti (that’s when your abdominal muscles separate), and chronic discomfort. I was done having children and ready to heal—not just cosmetically, but medically. I combined a hernia repair, diastasis recti repair, tummy tuck, and back liposuction all in one surgery because I knew a plastic surgeon would approach it with greater precision and care.
I’m American, and before choosing Egypt, I searched in the U.S., Turkey, and Thailand. But when I met Dr. Ashraf and his incredible team, I knew I was in the right hands. And let me just say this: you will LOVE Ghada and the nurses—they are genuinely God-sent. Every fear I had disappeared after meeting them.
I’d delayed this surgery for almost three years until my hernia became a near-emergency. The emotional and physical toll was real, but this team made the entire process easier than I imagined. Their care is not transactional—it’s spiritual, professional, and deeply human.
I must highlight Nurse Fatma. She is one of those rare souls whose presence stays with you. She came to my Airbnb almost every day, helped me bathe, changed my dressings, managed my medications, and treated me like family. I told Dr. Ashraf I wanted to keep her forever—he laughed but meant no! 😄
The surgery was a success. My results? Perfect. I’m happy, healthy, and finally feel like myself again. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Ghada and ask her to connect you with me—I’m happy to share my experience.
Here are a few things I want to pass on:
• The staff is amazing. Every single person made me feel safe, seen, and cared for.
• Stay in Cairo at least 3 weeks if you’re coming from abroad. Healing takes time—don’t rush it.
• Bring your medicines, and listen to your body. Aesthetic goals and physical healing don’t always align perfectly, so honor your pace.
• Dr. Inji is brilliant. Eight weeks later, she still checks in and encourages me. That’s rare. She’s not just skilled—she’s nurturing and precise.
If you’re nervous or unsure—I was too. But I’m so grateful I took this step, and even more grateful I did it with this team.
With love and deep thanks,
Ashley
