Ca. 45 minutes beforehand, the treated area is numbed with an anaesthetic cream. The laser treatment of the whole face takes approx. 30 minutes. There is some redness after the procedure, and little crusts occur the next day, but disappear again within a week together with the redness. On the second or third day after the procedure, a make-up can be worn. The rejuvenating effect lasts for several years.

Until then,  it is not advisable to expose the treated area  to high temperatures (sauna, tanning) or to  severe coldness. Over time, the substances in the skin are slowly degraded and their application therefore has to be repeated after a certain time. The duration of the effective period varies. It usually ranges  from 6 to 12 months, but the procedure can be repeated whenever needed.
