How does it work?Plasma Fibroblast creates a controlled dermal wound to promote, encourage and initiate the body’s natural healing response. At Equinox Clinic we utilise the last generation of Beierplasm K85 which is the first continuous working plasma lift in the world. Plasma Fibroblast works similarly to an ablative (fractional) laser. Plasma Fibroblast uses a scientifically-crafted hand piece designed to ionize gases (plasma) in the air creating a small arc. Plasma is created as the arc touches the skin, transmitting heat to the papillary layer of tissue where the fibroblast cells are located.  The plasma-created heat causes the affected tissue to contract and in turn tighten the skin. The fractional tip does not affect the skin cell tissue but only sublimates the skin surface and contract the skin by creating small dot shapes in the treatment area. That’s when the real magic of this treatment happens, your skins natural healing processes go into overdrive and encourage fresh cells, including collagen and elastin, to be produced.
